A few years back in a season of uncertainty & hopelessness while I was on my knees, I started declaring the words of encouragement to myself saying, you are the God who redeemed me, you are the one who is with me, in good times & tough times, and you are the only One who never gives up on me. I decided to praise Him with joyful songs of celebration. He restored my life with this melody of deliverance.
These verses & the chorus came with the flow of the Holy Spirit into my spirit. With my guitar, I started worshipping Him. There’s nothing like His presence to me.
But I will call on God, and the Lord will rescue me.
