Great video. It was helpful for me and I am not a beginner. I have building experience in sci-fi/mecha genre. When I saw this kit had to build it. I got detail up parts for this, then decided I'll hold off on this kit. Really want to do this one well. Got a Tamiya Yamaha YZF R1M instead to get my feet wet and build stock. Keep up the great work!

Thank you Raimy, appreciate that! I love the kit so far, and hope to have it finished soon for an upcoming show. I have the yamaha as well, need to get it out and get it going. I think I have the first three step completed. Have a great night, and thanks for watching

This was going to be the first model I tried. I was going to do hand painting but you convinced me to get an airbrush - I think I will get the portable one without the compressor. I am unsure if I should start with an easier model first or not though.

Do like your manner of vids and the detail you put into them. After you use your pipits how do you clean them for next use.

I reuse the ones that I use for thinners but the paint ones go in the trash. Thanks for the kudos! Appreciate your views. Have a great day

Nice video series, keep it up! Quick question: whats the difference between Tamiya LP 38 and XF 16 since they are both flat aluminium. I dont own any of the LP paints so I'm a bit worried that I can't use XF16 instead of LP 38.

Thank you so much! I don’t believe there is any difference. The LP paints are basically lacquer paint, whereas the regular X&XFs are more of a acrylic based, but both will give you really good results. I find thinning them gives me better results. Let me know if you need any help with anything. Have a great day.

Thanks Sandra. I get most of my supplies from Hobby Nut Models. You can find them here: www.hobbynutmodels.com. I also like to go to hobby lobby and amazon as well. Take care and happy modeling

Do you use primer? I didn't see it in your videos but other model videos seem to

Good afternoon good question. I usually use primer on everything I do just so the paint has better adhesion. There are times that I will skip the primer if it’s a piece that’s not gonna get touched a lot or if I just feel like I’m being lazy lol but as a general rule, I tend to always use primer. Thank you for watching. Hope you have a good day.
