I've been binging interviews with Eggers since I saw Nosferatu couple days ago and this one is great. I wish this team all the success they deserve and I'm honoured that they shot such a brilliant movie in my country.
Saw nosferatu last Thursday..big fan of the genre..wow..its brilliant 👏 loved bill as pennywise...and nailed orlock wonderfully...production..is fantastic..acting brilliant....well done to all and Mr.eggers..thank-you hammergazz 😊
That bit about being in good storytelling hands is a good point. As I have so many times started to watch a film. And within seconds. Often beofe a person even speaks a word. It could even be diring the opening credits. My heart sinks. And I say. "F***, it's going to be one of those...". And rarely, if ever, does a movie or TV show recover from that first gut reaction. The feeling is very uncanny. Sometimes I can't articulate what triggered it. I guess it's just a pattern recognition thing after watching thousands of movies and shows. But... I have never felt that feeling with a Robert Eggers film. I have never regretted sticking with a film he's done. Including Nosferatu.
