I was 15 when I first saw this video, it got me to check out the anime, than I read the manga. Now I m 25 and with the author dead this song really hits different.
One of the best AMVs out there. Editing's over the top for the time it was made. That interpretation of lyrics and scenes matched with them, so much emotions. You can see all of the effort editor put into it, it keeps the pressure from start to the end without dropping the quality - Amazing.

This AMV was made by Bote who is uncredited here. I see no affiliation this channel has with the guy, nor why should they take the compliments you gave. That's not very nice. :/ Edit: I've only realized it was Bote himself who wrote that comment. lol Bote ebote, stvarno si kralj. :)

And dont forget that puck actually saved(or maybe just helped) Guts sometimes in the manga. I mean, do you really think Guts would have survived as the Black Swordsman if Puck wasnt there to heal his wounds?

Too young to have really listened to Iron Maiden. They sound similar to me. At least in this song. Iron maiden came out years before even metallica did, and metallica is old to me.

@beeramoto The anime will not comeback, I have read the manga and seen the anime. It can not be possible, because when they did the anime they left out too many characters that had an important role in the story. Here is three of them: the elf Puck, The Bakiraka leader And the most important one that is the whole reason why Guts and Caska survived the eclopse, the Skull Knight. It was a bad move too leave him out when he is the reason they survived, but now they are making 3 movies of Berserk.
@Whiskeyshot111 i dont agree with you.He changed his sword before and now he has an armor.It is not a big deal.If you think that way he still cant win against a god with armor and sword.
The story is incomplete. The anime only covers the first part of the story. After all that crap hits the fan and our "hero" becomes himself. A monster he met earlier busts in, gets him outta there, and basically sets him on a path of vengeance. The anime is only 1/3 of the plot. :(
@TheGodlikeDragon They could continue the anime without Puck. I've read all the manga as well, and I don't see Puck as being such a pivotal character to include in an anime(he's simply comic relief anyway...) Plus the Skull Knight could pop in and save Gutts and Casca directly after the last anime episode for his intro.

THIS is the good version of Berserk.
And even then, it's not as good as the manga
