Finished products are always more refined and perfected. The work on that PT 2x4 proves the work it can put in. People don't understand, criss-crossing the grain and going through with ease says something. Can't wait to see some Dbad & Scab collab videos, hope you guys do a bunch. I'm mr. budget to myself and have to save and want something for a long time (most often years) before I can overcome my sense of financial self preservation and spend some chedda on something I "want". I know its hard, im right there with you bro I lost 20 pounds down from 260 and it makes a big difference. None of my shorts fit anymore! But thats a happy problem. I highly highly recommend the Youngstown XXL Kevlar reinforced work gloves for you. They are American made, and they are the best by far. No competitors build a glove like that. Ive seen all your chopping vids and I see sometimes you get a bounce from a blade in the direction of your support hand. If a big blade hits your hand, brother that is a complex, debilitating, career ending injury that requires serious surgery and you may not get the full use if your hand back. Ive seen it happen to so many people it scares the living shit out of me. The Youngstown glove will prevent that. For 25 bucks, it shouldn't require any thought. Nobody cares about you looking macho, we care that you dont get hurt. Safety glasses. Why the hell not? Does a shard of Douglas fir have to stick in your eye before you learn that your eyes are worth more than a 2 dollars piece of scrap wood? Blade breakage. Blades do snap, and they do recoil back at you. What to wear? A bandana around your neck. Why not? Why the hell not? I also had a Benchmade McHenry Williams (gorgeous knife) slip out and hit me in the calf and nick a vein. I bled nonstop till they stitched me up 7 hours later. So if you won't wear a nice leather shop apron, the best, then at least wear a thick pair of jeans. Your practically naked out there! Im worried about you man! How about some badass leather wristbands? They fit your badboy image and protect your veins. Please give this serious thought. At least the eyes and hands.

Awesome looking knife! Believe it or not, I had plans on buying one of these this month, but....Knifecenter dropped some Hinderer KaBars, so I jumped on one of those instead. I still plan to get me a War Machine, it's just going to have to wait a bit since I dumped the stupid amount of money on the Hinderer. DBAD has done a great job with his designs. Handles absolutely are every bit as important as the blade. That's why I like Chris Tanners designs. They aren't always pretty, but damn, the man knows how to design a handle! He has a very good understanding of the ergonomics for a hand. Thanks for the review Scab. It's nice to see another persons views on it.

First, again a great video. As a guy with big ass hands I need bigger handles. Never have seen better information about the handle. The most knife channels tell you everything about the steel and how often it cuts sisal rope at which blade angle. The blade steel is nice to know, but it is more important that you have a good grip on the knife. Second, didn't you know that Roman Gladiators used to be quite fat? Not a single lean Gladiator is known. This was because of them fighting without any armour or just with a little bit of armour, but mostly half naked. So if they got cut or stabbed, they didn't get cut into muscles or tennons, but into fat tissue first. This protected them from incapacitated limbs and deeper bodywounds. Even back then Doctors have been able to give a cut Gladiator some stitches, and a few weeks later the Gladiator was ready to fight again. So I can say that some of us are better prepared for getting cut than others. Think about your own body size, and if "eating for self defense" would be a good motto. #22aday Stay safe everybody, and stay blessed. Greetings from Germany!

As usual i would prefer my combat knives to have symmetrical grips so I can flip it upside down if i want but its still a beast of a knife w/ a great blade shape.
IF that knife would have been out when i was bouncing around in the middle east i would have carried it well built and balanced with out a lot of weight
