The Bee Gees fan mentioned that Barry had to cancel his concert in Mexico at the time due to heart problems. A condition which would later kill his brothers Maurice, in 2003 and Robin in 2012. It's heartbreaking to watch footage of them performing as a group now knowing that two thirds of the group are no longer with us.
About once a year I check to make sure Barry’s about and ok - like patting mi pocket for mi keys - coz I want to pop off before the last Bee Gee does or I’ll be devastated. He also looks like my dad which doesn’t help matters. I’m sick of everyone else going first and me being stuck ‘ere.

One of those scouts was in my brother's class. That scout leader lady was probably relieved when the person on the other end of the phone saying a former scout got in touch was Cilla and not a police officer. It would be funny if the pen friend came in and was actually an old man pretending to be a young lady.
I saw our Cilla in her red suit jacket when she's in Ireland to surprise everyone in that place. It reminds me of the intro in Season 13, 14 and the rest of specials.
There was no bs with the Bee Gees fan. She knew the track listing of the song they performed. Genuine big fan. hmmm - I wonder if she had been an Andy Gibb fan too? Did she have his music? I'd've loved them to do a quick How Deep Is Your Love trio for her by the Cilla sofas.
