I'm man enough to admit where I have been wrong. The track walk made the course look like a typical easy-osy Leogang bike park track and I was highly critical of it. However Markus Pekoll and his gang seem to have made some interesting changes that really up the difficulty and technical skill emphasis on the track. I would love to see a big dumping of rain overnight and watch the track descend into absolute chaos on the off camber sections and rooty parts. Phenomenal graft as always Cathro. Look forward to the rest of the weeks content! Maybe grab some line choice stuff at that stump field Laurie Greenland was talking about in your track walk?
This is a real sick edit Ben. Love the comparison at the top on the road after the shark fin. Not much in the stand up tall and the crumpled stance. Be very interesting to see the line choices develop. Good work mate keep it up.
3:49 Have these people heard about the whole "slow in, fast out"? If you brake earlier and cleaner, you can get off the brakes and gain speed around the downhill turn. I'd try to use some braking in the compression. Unless it's an almost-wallride, it's never good to just throw yourself into a corner.
I’ve gone back to the 6300 with my 6400 as the “ghost” camera. The 6400 and the 18-105 lens seems to have a focussing issue where it looses focus while zooming. I used the 6400 for all the fort William vids though.
