Legitimately i said " Sweety, with respect, you're very boisterous. Besides, I wasn't eaves dropping. I was listening passively and whittling on a a stick when you started to get flustered. Then I ran 2 miles through the tree line to check out what the issue was. " When she asked if I could hear her from that far away and said " He's calmly laying on the mental version of a couch in my brain looking at you, wagging his tail in a relaxed pace." When she asked if my wolf was freaking out about things, and " ok, sniffing out a charlatan is totally different then smelling for a difference in body chemestry. You gotta listen for their heartbeat to quicken in conjunction with smelling for fear and the over production of sweat to detect a liar." For the last bit. XD
I've never laughed so hard over someone freaking out😂😭

Nice! Another entry to one of my favorites series' by you. My theory, we're starting to exhibit these new traits because we stopped locking up and hidimg that side of us even from ourself. In a way letting the wolf free means allowing it to just exist when it doesn't have to force itself to. Maybe that'll also make future shifts less violent and painful.

Im getting the impression that the listener is getting to the stage of their lycanthropy where they are gonna be stuck in a partial shift (having wolf ears and tail while still looking human) as their new normal due to their human side and wolf side becoming one, neither fighting for control

"It's a whole freakout cycle and it's just not good. Oh we are NOT going to next weekend's fuckin' shindig. We will fake something - I got CoVID, I don't know. We'll go to the city. There was a family emergency. Uh...the fuckin' pipes broke! I don't know - we'll figure something out, but we need to talk to this person like yesterday." The entire ending had me absolutely ROLLING. Your performances are always amazing, but the energy you give this character is especially fun. Hope they get the answers they need!
