Everyone has their own opinions, no doubt, but there was alot ( and still is) of hate for the looks of the GE Genesis locomotives. I cannot figure out why? In the original paint scheme like on the Auto Train in this video, how can anyone say those are ugly locomotives? Yup, much different than the F40PH but man I think they were sharp in their original paint as well as the "Heritage" schemes. What cool footage, I love this 1990s era-Amtrak. So much variety, some of it so much different than today yet some of it is still the same! Thank you for posting.
