DERBY STATION on 19th June 1991
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Derby Station taken on 19/06/1991. In the hour I was there I witnessed several HST's to and from London and several interesting freights passing through. Class 20s, 37s, 47s and 56s are seen. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. This brings it back, I was a driver at Derby then until 2015 , hst's with Valentas and screaming turbos pairs of 20s , 47s on stock trains + all the rest , thanks for sharing.

Many thanks for the comment....coming up very soon a shot of the Derby turn to Crewe with a pair of 20s returning to Derby in August of 1991.....best wishes....Mark

The 20s at 12:20 would be going to Denby with the brake van, so the guard could close the crossing gates. Not common to see a van on air braked wagons as I recall.
