A brilliant panto, Donny was amazing , such a good voice for his age. Julian, Nigel Havers and Steve the puppet man are absolutely wonderful every year too 👏🏻👏🏻💕
I wonder if that accidental switch off was planned or just improvised Additional note: after listening to it again, I hear a little hitch/hiccup in Sam's voice while the switch is off. (I don't think that was really planned) Even seeing and hearing Donny's reaction to the off-switch jokes/puns got me believing this was not planned at all, but extra funny. Props to Zerdin staying in character while guiding Donny on how to switch Sam back on
There are other videos of this routine from other dates, so I imagine it is planned (what is called 'business') but made to look as if it is happening 1st time!
I remember being at this performance and loved every minute of this panto. The whole cast were so funny in this panto. I hope Donny Osmond comes back this year to do another panto. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I'm not sure if Sam and Paul went to the stage door as when we went into the panto we were told not to go to the stage door or ask for autographs because of Covid.
Behind the scenes that is. Although I wonder if Zerdin has some kind of video screen so he can see the stage and is aware that Donny is holding Sam, Sam's unmoving mouth, and how Sam should move besides his mouth? Or maybe was in the wings (sides of the stage) which was where Donny went to inquire how to turn Sam back on

I would paul is in the wings as the signal for sam will have a limited range.
