@@knolsey ya i ended up messing everything up- I'd spawn in without my hemlock, switch to my backpack gun, pick up another, did a bunch of random shit, ended up duplicating my other insured gun (fjx), got tired of spawning in without a gun so just took it out my primary and tried to go in with one contraband gun, but every time I'd spawn in i would have two of my insured FJX- primary and secondary and no contaband gun 🤔, which was odd because I didn't even do anything with the fjx originally other than maybe switched to it when I spawned in without a gun.. then after the round the two identical FJXs would be contraband... every time I would try to come in with a different gun I would just spawn in with two identical fjx... I ended up with about 8 FJXs before realizing I had to put a totally different insured gun into my primary and go into the gunsmith and modify it and then load into the game and everything went back to normal. I might look into the process I did so I can learn how to do it again in case I run out of contraband guns but it was rather annoying at first

It works BUT not with every gun. Yes, the 15 min timer applys, but often, the cosmetics don't load properly, and you still get the same receiver skin. So your gun will look oddly matched. The only way around this is to put your Progression Camos on there to cover the mismatched attachments and receiver skin. Edit: THIS may only apply to PS4
Did you find a solution to this? It makes all the changes in attachments page, but when I use it it still has that dumb seance good crap on the receiver
@Knolsey first of all many many thanks for the video and for the tutorial and for let us know that this could be make. But I have one question, those wespons that you make could be tune It without loosing the 15' DMZ buff or if you tuned you'll loose the 15' DMZ's buff. Thanks in advance!
U can duplicate insured weapons still too.. Just stow it and replace it so the insured gun drops on the floor.. Then pick it up and it becomes contraband..
@@knolsey I have the same issue. I was even using the Seance base, but changing the receiver skin to Anime Tango. It looks right in my weaponsmithing tab, but then switches back once I go into the next lobby.

Same for me. Everything looks right in the menus, but when I load in, it switches my receiver back to the Seance. All the attachments still retained the changes I made in the menus.
the M13b does not have a 15m receiver, you can use any BAS-p skin in place of the glowing one however, as well as the Hemlock that is in that bundle. i also pinned a comment roughly a month ago of a commenter that it wasn't working for, since the last patch six-ish weeks ago it only works on some accounts. for instance it works on my account, but not my wife's.
@knolsey Yeah it sucks man the M13B is my Favourite too. I think I may already have a hemlock with 15min cooldown but not for the volcanic intentions I'd like to do it for that gun
@@BATTLEDUTY-X i still run the M13B & C within Urzikstan BR lol. the M13b is my personal favorite AR within DMZ definitely though, with the m4 being a close second. the BASP is incredible too btw, the only SMG that beats it up close is the mp5, but the mp5 damage falls off around 9 meters, where the BASP reaches to 22 meters. excellent for sniper support on ashika and vondel.
@@knolsey I just brought 2 M4 loadouts thE SKULL BREAKER & DAWNS LIGHT so I could do this. i want to skull breaker as the 15min cooldown. problem is the rear grip and the underbarral are locked when i try attach it. The 15min works buta when I put it into the slot it still says dawns light with only 2 bars instead of 5 and the whole skill is wrong. it's like a mix of dawns light and skull breaker.
Lol this is old news. Any 15min cooldown weapon can be customized and the weapon will retain its cooldown of 15min. You do not need to keep the standard blue print as it is when you unlock/purchase the bundle.
you can change the RECEIVER, not just the attachments. i literally change from the "Seance" Taq-56 to the "Take Point" Taq-56 in the video, including the upper and lower receiver.

Ive been doing this for awhile now. Only thing that you have to watch for is, you can't use attachments that are from another blueprint, the attachments you add or swap have to be the normal version. Otherwise it wont spawn in with them on
so all of your blueprints for a gun have a 15m cooldown? you don't have to change the cosmetic look of it by using this bug? because that's what it is, a bug.

Decent video but definitely misleading title. You can't take ANY blueprint. Only change the appearance of an existing blueprint with 15 minute cooldown. I don't have a 15 minute TAC. I have multiple other 15 minute weapons. I can't turn any of them into a 15 minute TAC.

Bleakmid, go to your insured slots, click change scroll through to the BAS-P, click store instead of skins. All bundles with that gun will then be shown. You can then scroll across to the 15min one and purchase. Same can be done with any weapon to purchase a pack that isn't currently in store rotation.
yeah we've been trying to figure out why he can't see anything if it's not literally posted on the store page. it's an issue only he's having, and i've reached out to my contact at activision and they have no idea.
I got it to work once yesterday, I'm trying to recreate it so I can update this video, if I do I'll be sure to respond to every comment and let you guys know.

doesn't work, i have a 15m hemlock, went to receiver and changed skin- in game it looks like my 15m hemlock and not the skin i changed it to.
they actually patched this out about a week ago.

You have to use regular(original) attachments, it won't work if you use one from another blueprint when you add/change attachments to 15 min timer gun

tried to do this on a one plat with the hemi and mcpr from the izzy bundle, got spawn pushed and instant wiped. it works. :O this is a game changer.
