I hear this song play on certain secular commercials, they only put "this is my story this is my song" but they cut "praising my savior all the day long" part out. Which is the most important part of the whole song. It shows how much the world glorifies the flesh and desires of the body while not wanting to glorify the one true God. The savior who conquered the grave and overpowered the enemy and gave us eternal life.

Jesus brings freedom and grace. He has brought me freedom from sin, lust, porn, weed. brought me a wonderful wife. brought me a boldness like I never had. He is awesome!! It has nothing to do with "religion" ... but a real relationship with a real person, a loving father. THIS IS MY STORY!!
The past month has been a complete rollercoaster, leaving me running from God the last couple of weeks, feeling like I could get it all back together on my own and make something out of my mess. This song reminded me in a BIG way that He was the One who made something out of my life to begin with and He is the only One that can keep redeeming it. Jesus will say to those that do not know him and believe that he is the only salvation from our sin "depart from me for I knew you not". It's very simple, if you believe the words of Jesus, realize that you are a sinner in need of salvation as are all of us,and confess he is Lord and rose from The grave to earn our way into heaven, then you truly truly know you have eternal salvation. For I went through near death as a newborn to a Tumor in my skull To several more scarring Injuries. But ftom the ashes God delivered me from the Enemy. Learn from my story whether Told you would fail or Are overwhelmed by Fear remember to use your Experiences and turn it against The enemy. Live to please and Love God. Not to Curl up and wait. To tell you MY story, is to tell of HIM, if I told you MY story you would hear VICTORY over the enemy! I love this song and I too cannot sing it aloud without crying with joy. I get to lead singing this Sunday morning, and I will be singing Blessed Assurance. Praise the Lord for blessing us with the gift of song.
My story, it's been going and leaving to this moment for 17 years. 2 of which I have been a Christian. The truth is, in these just 2 years there is so much now that I could not begin to write them all in a short comment. But I will say this, God has worked so powerfully and totally astonishingly. I have had an awesome life lived with Jesus for these 2 years, and there have been harsh situations, difficult things and events I've had to overcome, but he has overcome them for me. And I can rest while with him. Part of what is cool about all of this: even though I've expierenced and learned amazing things, I still have a desire and God is calling me to deeper more amazing things. I'm still going deeper. And truly these things are beyond what you can imagine, yet he still calls me deeper! I guess that's pretty much what I want to share about my story! Hope this blesses you!

I heard this song just sitting in my car this morning. It made me reflect on my life growing up as a older sister with three sisters I had to protect each day from sexual abuse of my stepfather. His grace and mercy carried us and the Holy Spirit protected us so, even tho at that time we didnt even know or believe in a God! God remain no matter what state we are in! I was driving and this song came on and the tear started to flow. This song touched my heart because of my story, my past and what God has done for me in just the past five years. Blessing beyond belief, pulling me out of pits one after another. I heard this song after he pulled me out of my recent pit and then he blessed me with a car that I needed so bad, because my other one was falling apart and leaving me stranded. God is so good and we have to remember he is there with us in that pit and he is teaching us something every time. He has taught me so much just in the past five years and I am so grateful to him. I love the Lord with all that I am. My history is his story, for me. He has helped me to grow with every thing I go through. I have to learn things the hard way it seems, in relationships, jobs, no jobs and just plan brothers and sisters in or not in Christ. I was driving home from somewhere here in town when I first heard this song on KLOVE or Air1 Radio. When I heard "This is my story. This is my song," I was over the moon! I was so excited I started singing loudly in my car and then yelled: Yeaaaa! at the end. I love when artists sing hymns we know and love and add to them new ways to sing them. It makes me think of Heaven and how exciting worship will be all together again.

I told God I would stop and I would be a better servant over time this promise became old and outplayed I felt I was Never Going to be God's servant because I chose this Road .... I took A drug that Changed my life within 2 months I was clean ...
