    Thank you - a very useful guide to the machine. I have a DTLP81151W which is similar. My sister has one and is pleased with its power-saving capabilities. I've just got rid of my old AEG Lavatherm 320 that was reliable, but a real electricity guzzler. It was bought back in the 90s, so these things weren't an issue back then. Thank you again....saves reading the manual. 😊

    Thank you, very informative and I assume will be similar to the Beko DTLP71151W Heat Pump Tumble Dryer which my daughter has just had delivered (only two of them so 7kg should be fine). The issue we have. and I'm hoping someone has videos and links of where to find the parts) is trying to fit the very narrow drainage hose that comes with the machine to the existing dishwasher/washing machine 'cone like under the sink' drainage, the old hose was much bigger in diameter (having removed the non-working dishwasher that the previous people left). What can be done? Has anyone seen parts or videos? Many thanks.

    Hello and thank you for the informative video. I have had a nightmare with trying to find out how a Beko DPHY9P46W heat pump condenser drier works as the instructions are terrible. I have tried speaking to Beko and other companies all to no avail. Is there any way I can contact you or find out how to work these driers. Do you work for a shop and also sell these?
    Many thanks

      @Aqualtislad2008 I have a Grundig Advanced Heat Pump GTN38240GCW tumble dryer and program 6 takes nearly 3 hours to dry, during it, it drops does to iron dry at 40 minutes, it also drops down to cool down at 1 minute so I used the water reservoir to empty, thanks

      @josephw6977 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Aqualtislad2008 ye because they’re a more energy efficient. Here’s an example: if you ran to somewhere you would be using more energy but it would get you to your destination quicker, however if I was walking to my destination it would take longer but I wouldn’t using as much energy.

    Got a7 kg beko dryer,noticed you’ve no lint filter in the filter housing, I’ve got one but it’s disintegrated, is it necessary to have one

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes you need the filter to be ok for the dryer to be maintained properly. If you don't have a filter then you may get lint or fluff around the heating element which can be dangerous

  • @DimitriyLee
    @DimitriyLee 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why there is no evaporator filter? This is well confuses me, is it designed like this or is it because it is the cheap model... As you can brush only what is in front, obviously there will be a lot of fluff collected through evaporator and further to the water pup etc ...

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds pretty normal as heat pump dryers don't give out much heat. I would say as long as its drying ok then you should be fine

  • @lennon1005

    Do you need to use the hose that comes with the dryer? Or is the one that comes at bottom enough ?

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You don't have to use the hose, its only if you want to allow the water to exit the machine via a waste pipe

    I’m not sure if you will see this, but what’s the difference between what you reviewed and Beko DTLP71151W 7KG Heat Pump Tumble Dryer? I got my job and moved out from home and this is my first “adult” purchase, so I’m worried. The model you review is not available. Do I go for this model?

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The main difference will be the load of 7kg against 8kg on the one i reviewed. If there are a couple of you in the house then 7kg should be fine, but if its a family washing a lot then normally 8kg and above is normally recommended

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it is a freestanding tumble dryer, then it is not recommended to have the door open whilst the appliance is in operation. Obviously once it has finished and cooled down then shut the door.

    • @oscarjohn1
      @oscarjohn1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lords-electrical yes it’s free standing. With you saying if it’s a warm room it’s more efficient. Thank so much for getting back to me very happy with it made up a bought it. I was a bit unsure until I watched your video. Thanks for all the info 👍🏼

    You didn’t mention the dampness ( condensation ) that gathers behind the filter at the bottom. Which I’ve only just noticed with mine. Apparently quite normal. But could create mould if not aware of it. :)

    • @lg5819
      @lg5819 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had the same problem on mine, but that was when I selected iron Dry, which still leaves the clothes damp for ironing afterwards. When I should of selected Extra dry, under the cotton programs. But when I noticed the condensation forming inside, using the iron dry program, I stopped the machine midway, and emptied the tank. And I cleaned out the filters, removing any excess lint inside, so the machine can work better. Than I selected Extra dry program and when it was finished my clothes was dry. Obviously, you mustn’t overload the machine, because it won’t dry the clothes and it will make the machine work a lot harder. Also, spin dry your towels and bed linen at 1200 minimum, and clothes the same spin speed, or at least a 1000, so it will be easier to dry in the dryer and you will see less condensation.

    I have had my tumble dryer for about 3-4 years now and I have never drain the condenser tub. I've looked all around it trting to figure out what the issue is but have found any. some while ago it used to wet floor occasionally now it doesn't and there's no water in the tub. is something wrong with it? if so, how can I solve the problem

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Does sound odd as the water must be going somewhere? Does the water go out of a pipe into a waste outlet, that can be the only other way of the water exiting the machine.

  • @user-be1it9zi8v
    @user-be1it9zi8v 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    These have the absolute worst timer functions - can you explain to me like I'm a child "Ending In". With the detector built in, how would it even know when to start when it doesn't know when it will end? Let's say I want to go to bed at 9pm and I have cheap electric from 1am to 10am. On the Extra Dry (3.5hrs) cycle - what exactly do I put? "Ending In, 13 hours" ?
    It's baffling why they don't just use a clock system or even a delayed start option.

    Lately there are too many TH-cam ads in the videos here. This one has 5 ads for me and is only a 15min video... To me that ruins the overall experience and I watch far less than before. Since others don't mention this, I guess they have TH-cam premium.

      That's annoying to hear its taking a long time to dry, is it in an area that is cold? If it is cold like in a garage or outdoor area then it will take a long time to dry.
