  • Spring has arrived and the markets are filled with colorful and fragrant spring flowers.
    In this how-to video Leanne takes an organic approach to arranging flowers using a ball of curly willow branches in a clear vase to create an armature for supporting the delicate stems and a design that appears to be the roots of the flowers. This is a design that you will want to create over and over again during the spring season. Enjoy! Jasmine is definitely a favorite material for spring floral designs, Gabriel! It really adds drape and movement to this arrangement as well. You are right about the color palette too as it has that beautiful feminine feel to it. Leanne combines a lovely selection of spring flowers to create this piece. Thank you for taking time to see this show. We're glad you enjoyed it and hope you will continue to watch our videos whenever you can. Sending you our very best and please be well in all that you do!

    What Care would you recommend for that kind of arrangement?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's an interesting question, Joaquin! The best care you can give any design is to process your flowers properly before you begin to design. In general, give your flowers a fresh cut on an angle and then allow time to hydrate in clean water mixed with flower food. When flowers have plenty of time to rest and drink, they are much more likely to be beautiful when you design. You can always refresh the water in the vase with a watering can or test tube filler as needed. Thank you very much for stopping by to say hello. We hope you are enjoying your work with flowers and will join us again for more inspiration. Sending you best wishes and please be well in all that you do!

    Hi! This is amazing! What I was looking for :) I will be making my wedding arrangements (of course with help) and this is the colors I’ll love to have. Would you please, please help me with the color of the flowers specially or at least the garden rose. It’s beautiful!! Great job
    I know you named the flowers in the beginning, I got that.

      Great question Estela. The colors are in various tones of pink. The garden roses look like they are David Austin roses called Constance.

      Creating arrangements from wild and garden flowers is a great way to go, especially if you have a cutting garden, Ala. Thanks for watching our show, and hope you have fun with flowers!
