    "A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense. Never for attack." - Grogu took that lesson that was passed on from Yoda and used the Force to defend himself and Din. I think “The spies” referred to the Shadow Council with Elia Kane included since she reported to Gideon. I really enjoyed this season but weirdly I keep wondering what happened to Pershing. Is he dead or sitting in a padded room in a straight jacket? Lol other than that I think the season was enjoyable. Also seems to be inspired by Moses and the 12 spies. Joshua sent 12 spies ahead of him to the Promise Land ahead of himself and his other followrs. This is pretty much what we saw in Episde 7 with Bo and a handful of Mandalorians going ahead of the Fleet and the Armorer to Mandalore. The Mandalorian scout party are the spies while Mandalore is the Promised Land with the Armorer and the Fleet are the other followers who wait behind. But 100% you can also look at the spies as the Shadow Council as well.

    Since most of the titles this season have biblical or religious connections, there is a discussion out there that the “Spies” title of last episode was a reference to Moses’ “spies” that he sent into the promised land ahead of the people to “spy”, a.k.a scout, for dangers. I think this accurate because that is what to group that went ahead to the planet we’re doing- spying or scouting for danger

  • @moodswinggaming2972
    @moodswinggaming2972 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    a lot of people mention grogu using force choke, typically only dark side users use that, or maybe the odd jedi knight. We wont see Grogu ever use that hopefully. I also believe the shows name is for Grogu not Djarin. I think they foreshadowed Grogu being the one who ends up taming the Mythasaur also. The very end scene where it focuses on Grogu as it cuts to credits, is a huge clue as to who " the mandalorioan " is here. I believe it ended the way it did because in series 4 we'll get a time jump where Grogu is older and more capable. That way, we can see mandalore having had some regeneration work done too.

    Over on On1Media's channel; someone in the comments brought up an old reference to the word Spies. The bible talks about how Moses asked one person from each tribe; to go ahead to see if the Promised Lands would be somewhere they could live. They were called 'The Spies'; which in this case, means scouts. So the episode The Spies; really meant the group of 12 Mandalorians, who went to scout ahead with Bo-Katan.

    Keep in mind, the Ahsoka series is likely to change the whole landscape of the galaxy, so next season is likely to have a completely different feel again. Putting us in a neutral place at the end of the season was important, because dangling story threads would have gotten in the way of the Ahsoka story.
    Rebuilding the darksaber would require Jedi knowledge, so I think it's probably gone. Though Din mentioning last episode that the blade means nothing to him or his people. Bo Katan's character and honor is what makes her a great leader, and everyone in the great forge knows it now.

Most importantly, you were realistic in saying they couldn't top the secret return of Luke Skywalker last season. I said that before season 3 began. Once you accept that, it was very easy to enjoy season 3 for what they gave us, which was Din back to being a bounty hunter, & Bo Katan leading united mandalorians on Mandalore itself. @@kan-zee Stop it. Grogu is exhausted after using the force in any extensive fashion. He’s 53 in his species years. That’s equal to an an infant in human years. And you totally overlook the physical aspect. He’s not physically strong enough to be fully skilled as a Jedi. All you basically saw him do while training with Luke is levitate a frog & flip. That’s it and then he left. So this notion that he learned all these supernatural Jedi skills is simply unrealistic. No Star Wars fan knows anything about his species nor how they grow, mature. Until that info is provided, you can’t assume his path will be the same as Yoda. Especially since he is no longer training as a Jedi.

    Your impatience with Grogu was irritating. He's powerful yes, but still a baby, and he's gonna nap himself out too early if he doesn't conserve. Plus, you can't have Grogu just flatten all of the bad guys at every turn. What is everyone else supposed to do? Just stand around in the background and cheer him on like a bunch of Mandalorian soccer moms?

    The last episode felt more like a finale than this one.. I feel pretty let down.. I think the dark saber being destroyed is probably the best thing to happen all season,,😂 Even though it was stupid how it happened literally An indestructible Beskar hilt Being destroyed by crushing it with your hand , please lol Hopefully there's no more seasons of the Mandalorian it's run its course

    Bad season, bad finale. I liked some of the season, but the writing and acting were well below the standard that most of season 1 and 2 set.
