any tips/hotkeys on punching in vocals very quickly like the pro engineers? i hate having to use the mouse to drag the play head or select a new track to print on
My issue when recording with a template on the recording slot, is that one's the vocal is affected by the effects than I won't have any control with adjusting or re-tweaking when I want to.
The problem which I face is huge dynamic range with extra flexible tone of vocal sometime too bright and some time good and some time bassy in single take 😂 Never found solution yet Listened to many producers mixing vocals , their raw vocal it self sound consistent in volume and tone, I dont know what they do but if you can tell this this will be great
So does this record with the effects on ?? What if you wanted to tweak something like the autotune or something else? Or is recording through the track but being sent to the mixer with the effects on it?
when you send the vocal signal to the delay and reverb channels, why you don't use the faders to adjust the amount of effect instead of reducing the amount of signal that's being sent?
I do it that way because, lets say you have 3 other vocal tracks that you also are sending to the reverb. Instead of effecting the entire reverb by moving the fader, I can independently and more accurately send the exact amount of reverb I want to the tracks by doing it that way. Otherwise I would be forced to have the same amount of reverb on each track and have no micro control over each track. Hope that makes sense
how many kid roi presets u gonna use haha. this like the 3rd video with that preset. im sure we would like to hear how you other presets sound as well. Nice video though very helpful
Wait if l wanna mix the vocals in another insert, and then I need to remove these tracks out of the recording insert and therefore those “presets” will be lost right?

I personally would rather record on an empty channel and route it to the vocal preset channel in order to adjust things later in the mix...
Same
You can set it to not record fx so it doesn't even matter
you can set it to record input only then go back and adjust whatever you want later
So you’re recording the effects from the vocal chain directly to the recording track?
