His speech was truly an inspiration for both Whites and Blacks, It's not only a black pain but MLK was a civil rights leader for everyone no matter what the color of thier skin was, He always stood up for the poor and unprevilaged and always regarded their rights in society.
Every year I listen to this speech and every year I am profoundly moved by the amazing leadership of this man and how he was able to peacefully lead our nation to enact laws to ensure that the nation lives up to the principles on which it was founded.
We are so thankful for this man.and all others who helped our community back then that dream is still going and we believe that this dream will come true.
every time i watch this (which is every year) it moves me so. it always gives me chills and makes me so glad that we had a man this brave and with this much courage. Fact of the matter is that MLK Jr's dream hasn't been achieved. There is still a huge divide between the races of Americans. However, that doesn't mean that we shouldn't wake up every day and work to achieve his dreams. He had a dream. It hasn't gotten there yet, but I have hope that it will.
