Exactly. I work in dirt most of the time. I have learned to just carry a fixed blade to avoid the pivot problem altogether. However when I’m not like cool knives still.
Keep in mind that while Vanax is super corrosion resistant, however neodymium magnets (NdFeB magnets) are very susceptible to corrosion and will potentially rust even if nickel plated. Not sure how the ones that Winter Blade used have been tested against the ASTM-117B Salt Spray Test. Can't wait until my Oct 23 drop arrives in the mail.... 🤠👍 Bryan is the knife wizard! ❤
Got my credit card warmed up and ready for tomorrow night. And if all else fails i’ll spend way to much money on blade binge to make myself feel better.😂
I had been searching for a great dual action knife since I got heavily into knives nearly 5 years ago. I jumped on the drop & got this exact config which is the one I really wanted! Then only after I ordered did I realize this knife is actually dual action. Like true dual action, but with magnets. I was so focused on the idea of it being dual action in the sense of working as a manual, too. But even though I know dang well what the term means after years of keeping my eyes open, it just didn't click with me until AFTER I ordered one. 😆 So as you can imagine, I feel like the smartest idiot in the history of buying things. And I couldn't be happier for it! And the wait is only gonna be around two weeks? YES PLEASE
I have heard alot of people saying he is coming out with some spear point style blades. Any truth to that? The blade shape of the the only thing I'm not crazy about.
I keep my wallet and knife in the same front pocket. I wonder if the magnet in this would have any effect on the credit card strips/chips. My wallet would probably sit right around the same area as the magnet.
I can't decide if this is technically a switchblade in California or not (definition below). On the one hand, it seems to satisfy the first sentence - the blade deploys by a mechanism. But also, the blade can indeed be deployed "utilizing thumb pressure applied solely to the blade", so it seems to satisfy the 2nd sentence as well. I guess ultimately it probably depends on your lawyer - I guess I will take that 2nd sentence by itself and say therefore, this is not a switchblade. Official definition: As used in this part, “switchblade knife” means a knife having the appearance of a pocketknife and includes a spring-blade knife, snap-blade knife, gravity knife, or any other similar type knife, the blade or blades of which are two or more inches in length and which can be released automatically by a flick of a button, pressure on the handle, flip of the wrist or other mechanical device, or is released by the weight of the blade or by any type of mechanism whatsoever. “Switchblade knife” does not include a knife that opens with one hand utilizing thumb pressure applied solely to the blade of the knife or a thumb stud attached to the blade, provided that the knife has a detent or other mechanism that provides resistance that must be overcome in opening the blade, or that biases the blade back toward its closed position. leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/codes_displayText.xhtml?division=2.&part=6.&lawCode=PEN&title=1.
Also depends on if your judge actually cares more about the law than filling their prisons/fine revenue. However, the second part is very exclusionary and clearly defined. I would say any judge that determines this to be a switchblade isn't qualified to be a judge. Lol
Deciding on this or the 8ight. How does the closed carry height of the 8ight compare to the Severn????? I was hoping you would have showed that yesterday. I have the Severn & it gets a lot of pocket time.
I’m blown away he considers this the least interesting… granted Brian kills every design. This is by far my favorite of the 3 new knives. Manual deployment auto, vanax, fidget monster. Yes please

I work in an environment with metal shavings and I own two of Brian’s knives. They just don’t go to work with me. No big deal. Dorks 😂
People seem to forget that enthusiast tools are still tools and have different applications for different knives.
Same, just something to carry after work and on weekends. No big deal.

WINTERBLADE!!! I cannot wait to get my own M-Fire!
Nice! It looks like they re-designed the blade to accommodate sharpening from the older reviews.
nice catch! i didnt even notice
I would love to have it, the magnets make it so fascinating.

ditto
I just made my blade binge deal and will be sending my money on tuesday 😂 black Ti black dlc 🤤🫡
Winterblade Co has some pretty cool stuff going for them.

All hail Winterblade!! 🙌💜💜💜👐🏆

Storm trooper vs. on order can't wait
DOUBLE BOING for this one
They drop tomorrow evening! Be ready! Hmm what one to get?!
I'm going for it!
The nature of knife content is that it lends itself to a plethora of “that’s what she said” jokes… however this video really showcased it.
Like every fourth or fifth sentence. Stunning and brave.
If you had to pick just one between this Mfire & Factor B3, what would it be? I haven't tried either yet.
Is the severn still your favoritie winterblade knife?
The Factor is still the one IMO.

They’re pretty similar, but the 8IGHT is bigger by a smidge. The 8IGHT is awesome tho! Dont sleep on it! It’s super snappy!
What is wrong with using your wrist to deploy the blade?
Man I have been wanting a Winter Blade Co knife since the first time I saw one, hopefully someday
This Wednesday oct 23rd 7pm central! Mark your calendar and credit cards ready 😅
@@xFTSreflexgoing to affirm that girl😂😂
I thought there were 2 magnets, one also being in the blade repelling the one in the frame?
I wonder if this will be legal in canada
I can’t decide between this or the factor but I can’t get both! Idk what to do
I'm in for a dual action factor with the ting.
Gonna cry if I cant get this lol
I’m blown away he considers this the least interesting… granted Brian kills every design. This is by far my favorite of the 3 new knives.
Manual deployment auto, vanax, fidget monster.
Yes please
Great. Now I have to (try to) buy TWO knives tomorrow night! 🤬
What,, it's Kunwu who made the Winter knives ..? ^^
Just this model I believe
Veyron is also Kunwu. All others by Bestech, I believe.
@@spirona that’s right. I forgot about that model lol
Thanks
That TING
I hope everyone is broke enough the website doesn't overload.
I want this knife so badly.
But with the law changes here in Germany, all automatic knifes will be forbidden to own. 😢
Hi Dad
Mmmmmmmmm fireeeee ahhhhhh❤❤❤❤
Yay! So early!
Rare does not necessarily mean desirable; Smallpox is rare, but people aren't standing in line to get it.

Yes I do work with metal but don’t care I’ll clean it twice a day if I have to lol
