There was no indication of Les saying he would leave here. Shame how it came to abrupt end his time as host after 15 years. But can't complain if I was him. His successor a forgotten man was Andy Collins. Must admit he tried his best as was hard act to follow from Les. Preferred him over Vernon and Gino combined
Before Andy took over, Les was offered the chance to host the daytime version in 2002. The reason he turned it down was because there was a huge pay cut to go with it.
