Thanks for share, as I know USI define max of 3 buttons but Google don't like button. It's why no button works on Chromebook (however the 2nd button will still work like mouse right button). If user install Windows or Linux on system all buttons on pen will work.
Update: I got them back. So relieved! HEADS UP: I had issues originally uploading this video. In the process I had to delete multiple videos and I accidentally deleted my last 6 months of videos!!! Needless to say I'm very crushed, but I'm hopeful that youtube will be able to restore them. So if you don't see any recent videos outside of this one, that's why
Update: I eventually got them all back 😂😂. So grateful. But I had to dig up all the urls manually using old playlists. Otherwise I don't think Google would have done much
Hey! I know that the Lenovo Ideapad Chromebook Flex 3i isn't compatible with a Lenovo pen, however there are rumours that other pens may work, do you think any of the ones you displayed in the video might work? I have belief that it may still work, especially on the draw feature for an app for example, when you can choose your drawing size, it must be useful!? And most stylus pens say compatible with Chrome OS, which doesnt make sense because that infers that pens work with the whole Chromebook range!
To my understanding, that laptop is not compatible with any USI pen.. You're going to have to buy a capacitive stylus, it won't have the same features, it will work similar to your finger whenever you're using the touch screen, but it will work
@AndroidDigest Thanks for clearing up the misunderstanding! This topic is not talked about at all, and I have found thousands of forums online with people asking Lenovo and other people the same things with no response!! Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. I will definitely get the capacitive stylus then because I just don't want the screen to get ruined with fingerprints etc..as it doesn't have a screen protector...
I do have a question. What is the cheapest chromebook that supports one of these pens? I was considering getting one to use Krita, but there doesn't seem to be allot of information about stylus capability with chromebooks.
The Lenovo Chromebook Duet - $250 at walmart. $300 at Best Buy (more storage, may go on sale on occasion). I'm about to sell mine on eBay for $150 just because I have more items to review. It works with a stylus though the keyboard is a little crammed since it's a detachable tablet but it's a great little tablet especially for the price. The Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5 is a great Chromebook (search the name on amazon). It's $370 but a full Chromebook. The Lenovo C340 (the one with touchscreen) works too. A lot of options. I don't know the exact cheapest, outside of the Duet. But hopefully these options help.
I have a question. My lenovo pen writes on pdf when without touching the screen. Is that normal or how to i off it? I want it to only write when my pen is touching the screen. And the pen does not click on icons well. Is that normal?
I think I bought the moko pen , it was the only one that had good reviews on Amazon, it's a little heavy . But I was experiencing some hiccups with my Acer spin 713 2021 model any suggestions I was using the Google notes the app based one on the play store it was buggy and I couldn't cross my ts It acted like it was a dead space but it wasnt. Then I tried the google keep and it was alot better but is there any other apps I could use
Hopefully someone can answer me on this. I have the Lenovo usi stylus 2 (gray) and sold my Lenovo Chromebook I was using it for. Would that same stylus work with the Samsung galaxy chromebook 2??
Yes it will work. Any usi 2 pen will work with a usi 1 device, but a usi 2 Device only works with usi 2 pens. The Galaxy Chromebook 2 uses usi 1. So any usi 2 pen will work on it
No, the C340 isn't compatible with any active stylus. You would need to get a capacitive stylus, which works like your finger (so it won't reject your palm when you touch the screen with your hand)
Guys if you have the Chromebook duet please for the love of god don't get the Lenovo pen it's way too sensitive for the duet I don't know if it's the same for other chromebooks but for the duet it's almost unusable the quality is really great though it's just the sensitivity of the pen
Hello. I have read an article saying ASUS Flip C434 does not support USI pens. Does it? If in any chance it actually does, what USI pen will probably work? Thank youuu.
It doesn't work. You would have to buy a capacitive stylus, which doesn't have any usi stylus features. It's basically a pen that acts like you are touching the screen with your finger, it doesn't have palm rejection for example. You can find a decent capacitive stylus, it just won't have any features like a usi stylus would have
@@AndroidDigest Aww, I am a bit disappointed my Chromebook can't be used for digital arts. Capacitive stylus is kinda harder to use and can't be trusted for small details. But thank you for confirming, Sir. I really appreciate. Thanks for your videos too. Really helpful.
Thanks bought the Moko based on your excitement for it.
Thank you for your objective perspective on a variety of pens.

I am really hoping for positivity with this

Thank you. A well informative video. I look forward to watching your other videos. Cheers!
Hi! It's work with a Chromebook acer spin 11? I don't saw in any place if usi stylus works in this chromebook
Thank you! I want to mainly draw with mine. Which is better.
Great video as usual.

Question! Is the ASUS Chromebook Flip C536/CX5's screen compatible with a USI pen?
Yes it is
@@AndroidDigest do they put that info online with the item details like bestbuy and amazon ?
I have a used Iplume stylus pen but I can't unscrew the top to get to the battery like in the video. Do you have any suggestions?
Sorry, I don't! I'm not sure, I just bought these on amazon, and it's the best I know
Hopefully someone can answer me on this.

Any suggestions on a pen for the duet?
Good afternoon
God bless you!
What Chromebook you using for ?
It's been awhile but I think it was the Galaxy Chromebook 2. I mention it in the video
