Also, Sam Cooke is *chefs kiss*, as a kid Chain gang was my absolute favorite and it’s also got history aspects to it because we don’t really have chain gangs in America anymore (there are some in Arizona and Arkansas still I believe?) . But his voice drew me in as a kid when my parents would play him. And now I just love him even more for the nostalgia of it.

His raw voice is just so beautiful it’s impossible not to be drawn in by it

Just found your channel last night and already am a big fan. Your ASMR is so so good! Also The Longest John's??? I haven't met many, at least around me, who listen to them too so that's so awesome to hear! That vinyl is so freakin cool, I am jealous lol I couldn't agree more too their harmonies are just amazing. Keep up the great videos :D

I bet that concert was! I need to get back into collecting vinyl, and get a record player haha. Also fun fact, my Mom actually went to high school with the drummer of Weezer, and she said "He was kind of a geek hah". And I'm glad to be around, can't wait to see your channel grow (:

Your whispers are great, got you in my recommended on youtube so this is the first video i have seen from you. I hope your channel grows so more can share your interests, I think that will really help you gain some loyal subscribers most of my favorite asmr channels started by sharing interests. You may like the song “cumbersome” by seven mary three it’s kind of 2000’s dad rock but was released in the 90’s. I haven’t really listened to any of their other music but I like that song.

Hi, I commented. I was gonna try to fall asleep and such, it is 2 AM, I have a busy day ahead of me. Unfortunately, I forgot that I genuinely lose my shit when people talk about music and I was far too excited about all the music you were mentioning that I also listen to even come close to falling asleep, I may be more awake now then when I began watching. I’m honestly kind of embarrassed that I’m about to go on a rant about your rant but I’m a yapster and and I cannot keep my mouth shut for one second. I genuinely may be incapable of not giving my opinion on a single thing. So, I don’t know why, but I immediately expected you to talk about the strokes. I think you kind of just look like someone who listens to the strokes. That’s not an insult. Also, the Doja Cat thing is really real, Doja doesn’t match my music at all, people think they have my music taste down (I legitimately listen almost exclusively to Weezer and car seat headrest) so I really like to pull out the Doja Cat card. I also really like Bo Burnham, I like his early music a lot cause it’s catchy, but his progression into what it is now is just really awesome. I have a stupid ass meme picture thing I printed out a while back on my wall about how my Spotify DJ doesn’t get me but Bo Burnham does. Do you listen to TMBG? I feel like you either would listen to them or would enjoy them. That’s the vibe I’m getting. I haven’t heard a lot of the music you talked about which is cool cause it gives me something to listen to. Do you listen to talking heads? I genuinely lost my shit when you mentioned Ricky Jamaraz. I’m a huge Ricky Jamaraz fan, when he released Dec 13 1998 I genuinely spent months trying to get my friends to listen to it. I even emailed a past teacher where I told him to listen to it. I need to listen to some of his earlier stuff, but I really love all of his newer stuff, and the bit of earlier that I’ve heard. I think the way he writes is super interesting and I’m very much looking forward to his next album. It’s also super cool, cause he’s pretty young and all, to be able to hear his influences in his music, and it’s also awesome to know that we as an audience are watching him grow into his own voice. Idk, big fan. But yeah, as you said, not a huge artist, so it took me by surprise to hear you mention him. Anyway, you should listen to car seat headrest. Also, there’s this one Weezer song, maybe you’d be into it, it’s not on Spotify you’d have to listen on TH-cam. It’s called “thief, you’ve taken all that was me” also, there’s this cool album I listened to the other day, it’s a story album, I thought it was pretty cool and you seem like a really big nerd (I’m sorry that was mean) so I think you’d probably like it, it’s called “The Pilgrim, Their God and The King of My Decrepit Mountain” I don’t know if you’ve heard of it, it’s a pretty small artist I think? So maybe. Also, sorry I’m almost done, there’s this band called Naked Days, the main guy was (is?) roommates with Will Toledo, main guy in car seat headrest. They have an album called Chai Knees that I think is really nice. Okay thank you for talking about music it probably made my day. I couldn’t say yet, the day just started, but I’m sure it did.
