Just reviewing your tutorial on this BLIZZARD filled Saturday morning (Traverse City MI). Will be making some shaker cards for Valentine's Day and wanted them to be simple and easy...you have inspired me. It's been a long time since I've made a shaker and have some great bead and sequins that I've been hording that will be perfect for the "love holiday"!! Your tutorial is clear and easy to watch without all the chit chat. Thanks!!
I love these shaker cards! The colors of all the coordinating products make the card look so “together”! I NEED these products! As ever, you knocked this design out of the ball park!
Great tutorial! Can’t wait to start making my shaker cards. I love mass producing cards and doing it assembly line style, this makes total sense to me!
Amy, I had to watch this again, I want to use my Tonic kit paper the same exact way you did to make a few shaker cards, love the color combos on all the card, I don’t have these shaker bits so will make do with what I have. Thank you so much for the time you take to help us fellow Crafter’s along. Hugs!
Seriously, how did this get 8 thumbs down?! Just a few people trying to be mean. These cards are FABULOUS!!! If I'm not able to make something similar this year - they will certainly be the cards I send out in 2020! Thank you so much!!!
So Fun Amy! I always put my shaker cards together this way. It's so much easier & one less layer of cardstock you have to put on the back. & less messy. Tfs! ❤😘
These cards are so amazing. I'm a big shaker card and all the tips were great. Such a simple design but a huge wow factor. Thanks for the tutorial. I make a ton of Christmas cards and appreciate the inspiration. Cheers Lisa
Awesome cards!😍 Love the sequins you've used. You're definitely not the only one who uses about 4 different types of adhesive on one card. I do the same thing. 😅
I love these so much. Hope I can still get some of those gemstones. Those merry and holidays die cuts are so awesome. These are so festive, thanks for sharing.
Wow a little early for me to think about Christmas cards ....... however they are soooooo fun!!! Kinda getting me in the mood to make some! Great job as always, love your work
Love the way you make an assembly line for the shakers. Can you tell us how big that circle die is (inches?). Thanks for always sharing. Love those tonic papers.
Hello. Great video. I’m brand new and just made my first shaker card. I have an issue with seeing the foam tape around the edges. Is there some way of disguising it? When it’s a straight long piece is ok but not when I need to go around angles. Thanks so much!
I missed something. How did you adhere the last acetate piece that you were saving? Love these cards!! Cathy is amazing and I love those sentiments! You are giving me the urge to start holiday cards but then I always seem to miss out on summer cards!! #crafterproblems
I know you made these three years ago but do you do anything to the inside of the foam tape so the stuff inside doesn't stick to the foam? Thank you, loved these cards.
you can swipe a little anti-static powder against the edges but I rarely do that b/c if there's too much powder it can take away the stick of the foam and it won't adhere the layers plus the powder can show up in the shaker. So no - I usually just leave it as-is
Love the simplicity!!! TFS!!!

cut your foam tape into thinner strips before adhering it :)
I missed something. How did you adhere the last acetate piece that you were saving? Love these cards!! Cathy is amazing and I love those sentiments! You are giving me the urge to start holiday cards but then I always seem to miss out on summer cards!! #crafterproblems
I adhered it the same way as the other three that I showed in the video - I only left it off till after I'd placed the circles on the card bases.
Love your work, I also love Christmas so Much!!!
Love it
Love, love, love!!

Thank you. @@PrairiePaperandInk I have also, but a lot of the sequins or whatever I use sticks to the sides of the shaker card.
Oooooo, I LOVE these!!! :)
What fun cards. How do you not get stuff all over the place....my desk would look like a tornado had gone through. Thanks for sharing.
