@@kevinguzman3225 At the time I had an '08 Accord, I looked somewhere on the car and it said Ohio. Since then, that '08 got totaled (saving my mom's life) and now I have a 2011 Accord built in Marysville as well.

@@whattheheck1000 Hondas with 1 VIN codes are American-made, and probably either Ohio or Indiana. Accords will be built in Ohio.
Accords that have J VIN codes are Japanese-made, and were built at the Sayama plant in Sayama, Saitama, Japan.
how did you find the exact date and time? my 94 accord only had the month
@@strikle-forn883 that’s a time stamp for when the comment was posted. My Accord at that time was made in June 2008, the one I have now was built March 28, 2011, found out by looking at something that came with the owners manual, I think a service log.

29 years now. Surprised they made a commercial!
i thought my 1992 honda accord was made in this plant. but the sticker says its made in japan and the chassis letter starts with j? did honda made accord from japan and ohio?
It was built in Sayama, Saitama, Japan. On occasion, some Japanese-built Hondas can be found, though most are built in Ohio.
Incidentally, Honda does actually export cars from Ohio to both Japan and Europe, starting in 1988. In the '90s, they even got a nifty eagle badge saying "Honda of America".
@vwest7ife Ah yes of course!
Ohio? Oh hell no!
mmmm... Look fresh!

I had one of the 1992 Accords that was built in Marysville. That was a well-built, strong, smooth, comfortable car. I was so impressed that I would later buy three more Honda vehicles.
