The Biggest Burrito in Ireland | Guapo's 36" Triple Burrito Challenge

- After arriving in the beautiful city of Derry in Northern Ireland, Randy and I visited Guapo's Fresh Mexican Takeaway to face off against the biggest takeaway burrito AND biggest burrito challenge in Ireland! Guapo's 36" Triple Burrito Challenge is typically only served during their annual eating contest, but they allowed us to come in and tackle this bad boy as a restaurant challenge. The Triple Burrito is 3 feet long and loaded with EVERY filling available at the restaurant, including 5 different meats, all sorts of beans, rice, and cheese, loads of healthy veggies, and every sauce available as well. Challengers have just 30 minutes to finish the massive burrito, but winners do earn themselves the meal for free, a groovy t-shirt, and a spot up on Guapo's Wall of Fame!

Hi Katina. I recently finished a Mega Chimichanga Challenge at Macayo's Mexican Restaurant in Mesa Arizona. My time was 10 minutes 40 seconds. I got the $35 meal for free. You and Randy were key inspirations to me that day. It was similar to what you did in your challenge here, over three feet long but not spicy at all with fantastic flavor. There is a championship next month for the top ten finishers but I don't think I'll be able to make it due to my work schedule. Anyway, awesome job, and I wish you and Randy nothing but the very best.

Hey I live in Derry and I always get a Guapo when I'm in the town so thanks a lot for highlighting our little town and this amazing resturant.
Funny story, there is a Mexican food branch called Boojum here in Ireland and a few years ago they tried to muscle in on Guapo by setting up a place that was literally a 20 second walk away, which was a bit scummy, but since Guapo had them beat on both taste and price, while also being seen as the local underdog, hardly anyone actually went to Boojum so they quickly had to pack it in and Guapo still reigns supreme here.
Only crying shame is that after all this time Guapo still doesn't do delivery so I can't get it nearly as often as I would like, doubly so since it's the only Mexican place in the city.
