I've seen some video where they actually hired a whole kindergarten class or just a bunch of kids idk I don't speak korea, and made them wear a motion capture suit and just let them play in the park while they record every movement for the game, what a bunch of genius 😂
As much as I love both Crimson Desert and DokeV I kinda wished they focused on DokeV first but I understand that they need to focus on Crimson Desert first so that DokeV can be EVEN MORE successful when it comes out. Been waiting on this game for YEARS and I was saddened when I haven’t heard ANYTHING from it since then. But I’m glad the game didn’t get cancelled 😂
I stumbled across this game and now it's of my most anticipated titles. Game has no right looking as good as it does. I'm just thankful the devs acknowledged it bc I would be so sad if it's vaporware. but damn, a potential 2026 release is so far away. With the success of Palworld, I could really see this game being extremely successful

For curiosity, Dokev is derived from the word Dokkaebi. That is basically the Korean equivalent for the japanese yokai. So the dokev are folkloric korean creatures like the yokai from Japan. And I'm very excited for the game. specially since they ditched the mmo part of it.
This why the closure of Tango Gameworks sucked so much. Ghostwire: Tokyo was pretty ok, and the sequels could examine other East Asian mythologies. Ghostwire: Hong Kong, Ghostwire: Manila. Hell, Ghostwire: Hanoi would have been crazy
the last i heard, they scraped the whole gameplay cause the devs werent happy with how it was turning out - something about the multiplayer wasnt lineing up right with their vision i still want this tho

I was hoping this would turn in to a more "play with friends" type of game, understandable that you probably couldn't have an mmo, but coop style with up to 4-6 players would have been great. Am assuming that it will be bosses that you can invite your friends in on.

I've been listening to the trailer song since its announcement. really excited ti hear more about it, thanks for the update. hoping Palworld didnt take the wind out of everyones sails against pokemon, it'd great to see pokemon finally get what it deserves and falter, and although Palworld was a bump, unfortunately it was still a pretty bad game so it didnt stick super well
It was high time for bigger games to take on Pokemon, Nintendo got too lazy with their last mainline entries. Maybe this will be the wake up call to make something bigger for their next game.
Definitely an RTX 5000/6000 series game. No point releasing this when only a few thousand people can run this at an unstable 30fps. There is alot happening on screen and the test rig using Nvidias DGA 100 GPU tower shows this game is ahead of its time. The hardware will eventually catch up but it will be awhile.
I wouldn't play this game alone and with a few friends the fun would only be short-term, similar to Palworld, maybe 2-3 Months. This game needs to be an MMO, it's the interaction with lots of different people that makes the game come alive and stay fun in the long term. There are Games where you log in because of the people you've met there and less for the content itself. That shouldn't be underestimated. As I said, personally I wouldn't be interested in the game as a single player game or co-op with friends.
They kill games this big when they make them single player in my opinion i know some people like single player games, but thats also due to them being single, having that kind of alone time, and because multiplayer games they play didn't do it the way they wanted.
