Clearly the "trick" was passing the large part all the way through the frame at the start. 20 min is probably for trying all 4 flip-combinations of the two pieces without doing that.
It took me about a minute to solve the puzzle. But I guess it is hard to come up with something more difficult when you have only two parts.
@@Puzzleguy Take into fact that you have a lot of puzzle solving experience. I wonder if Yuu Asaka is making the target time for the beginner puzzlers.
I think you came to the conclusion of adding the large piece through the puzzle pretty fast. a great puzzle for someone who wants a fun and interesting easy puzzle.
2 piece puzzle doesn't give you a lot of options. So it takes no time to test a couple of ideas and go straight to the correct one.
I'm sure it is a great puzzle for beginners. I have to test it on my non puzzle friends.

20 minutes is the time for normal guys... Surely not for PUZZLE GUYS!
32 possible combinations, plus aligning - think you got it on about 3rd combo attempt!. TBF, being a Yuu Asaka puzzle, i immediately went for the piece swap top to bottom, as I know he always throws in a weird solution - but as i then initially had the pieces the wrong way round took me about 10 combinations and 5minutes. Fantastic puzzle though for just 2 pieces!
I got a bit lucky I guess. I've heard other puzzlers spent more time solving the puzzle.
That was fast. Maybe a defect puzzle😇 Nice and fun puzzle to solve. I think people going to lost time trying the wider piece on the top and never think to place it at the bottom.
I solved it so fast that I was a bit confused. I had to look for confirmation of my solution. A couple of puzzle friends told me my solution is exactly the same as they found

i think it was a bit of luck of having the pieces in the right oritation fairly early and prior knowledge of how those kinds of puzzels work with needing to manipulate the pieces once their inside but i think the biggest factor was just the lack of possiilities, only 2 pieces and 2 holes, sure theres some tricky manipulation you have to do to get them proper which may trip up a begginer but anyone whose done similar puzzels like that probably figure it out much faster than they anticipated. i think this puzzle could benefit either from more pieces to make it more complex or more false entrances to trip you up
You want to check out Yuu Asaka puzzle at Utto Puzzle. He already has puzzles with 4,5,6,7,9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15,,16, 19 and 29 etc Every new puzzle he comes up with fits into the numbering system - so its likely we will get with an 14, 8 or 3 piece next........
