Saw the original line-up four times, + Eat Static, early - mid 1990's, at Kilburn and Reading - just amazing. Love their early work, which has an experimental, loose, organic feel about much of it. It was love at first listen!!
Thank you for the upload. Saski's flute gives them back the ethereal vibe they had with Jon. Tim sounds pretty on point. Even Ed's brought back the Artist! Hope they tour Europe.
I bought tickets to two gigs. This one and Glasgow. Couldn't make it to either so Thanks for the upload. Agreed the flute adds a lot. We just need Jon's manic dancin to add to the vibe. Also I miss the Eat Static boys.
@@Amsterdamagesoup It all depends on the venue, they didn't use projections at the Sheffield gig after seeing the short uploaded video of that gig. Well done Steve!
I am glad they are playing again. Seen every American tour except for Halloween Night 2009 in Cleveland at the Beachland Ballroom. I almost just left that night and said I am going, tricker treating was fun. So thankful to have seen them many times. When they come to the Beachland and hopefully soon, I will be there for sure.
Thanks Nick! Not seen them since 1997. In those days I played bass with an amateur psychedelic rock band in Rugby. I didn't expect you to be into this stuff!
@@63Kafka Yup, that is Brandi, a big surprise to be sure but a welcome surprise to be sure, more so just for the fact that it is nice that they have a live bass and drum on stage with them rather than effectively taking a guitar and synth to a karaoke night in a pub which is what "Ozric Tentacles Electronic" really is, but it is also nice to see that they have appeared to sort personal things out between them rather than allowing it to keep a wedge between them that prevents the full band from touring.
While she has gotten better she is easily my least favourite bass player Ozrics has had. I get musicians have their preferences on instruments but really don't see what warrants having a top of the line Elrick bass and then an absolutely loaded Zon. Her playing just doesn't warrant that at this point in my opinion. I don't mean to sound overly critical but she still seems like she is still finding her voice and is more playing along rather than making the basslines her own and carving out some identity. She is perfectly adequate but compared to someone like Rolly, at least to me, it still feels very apparent something is missing. I do appreciate flute being brought back after such a long hiatus, still miss Jon.

The Eden Project in Cornwall was built in an old china clay pit...The Eden Sessions in the summer is quite a big thing....
