Before release Disney India head said Brahmastra - 1 is the most expensive film ever made in the history of Indian cinema even Ayan Mukerji also said the same thing , he also said Brahmastra - 2 and 3 will only get made if Brahmastra - 1 is a success but now when Brahmastra - 1 is a Disaster which hasn't even recovered it's budget , most overrated actor Ranbir Kapoor with his aggressive PR machinery is spreading this news that Brahmastra - 1 is not an expensive film . They did the same with Gangubai Kathiawadi which was made at a budget of 175 Crores earned only 95 Crores ( Real Collection ) Producers Figure 102.68 Crores but Alia Bhatt's PR made people believe that it's a success . P S:- if by selling Digital, Music and Satellite rights a film was called success than there is no Disaster in Bollywood , All films are success

What is Harry Potter inspired from? and LOTR?
No body pays to watch VFX. In Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Neither Harry performs any Magic from his wand nor the stone is shown in the entire film until the very end for just a single scene. Just the hype and rumors around the object lifted its value to such a level that a tiny 2 inches broad simple looking stone becomes extremely MAGICAL and MYSTERIOUS just like the rest of the film. Same thing happened with the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit and the same thing happened and worked in Speilberg's JAWS. The Hunger games (part 1) and many more...
But in Brahamastra the main object is SO MUCH IN THE FACE! that it looses its value. Plus a simple cheesy romance which started a week ago, which cant have any Depth even for a fantasy... is more powerful than the most powerful weapon in the universe? that doesn't make sense nor does it sound Poetic!
overall as a filmmaker I am happy because if it was a well researched and carefully made film... I would have been Jealous. And I dont like that feeling.

He basically answered the same questions better, but he's a more experienced actor so would of course have more knowledge in the industry and the direction these type of films are going
