- Recently my husband and I were able to attend a HUGE antique festival together in Midland, Michigan. This was such a fun date day that we enjoyed so much and I am excited to take you along with us as we shop so many beautiful antique and vintage finds.

You are giving me the Antique itch!!😂 I wanted to go today but a vintage store had their Grand Opening this weekend,so I purchased a couple of gifts from her. Still want to check out an Antique store about 14 miles from me. Love just taking it all in.

That deep cast iron chicken fryer is the BEST to cook with. I have one that I've had for years and I use it for everything!
This was great! My local Antiques in the Woods in Columbiana, Ohio is no more. I am really going to miss it.

Love these kinds of big outdoor markets, but I get overwhelmed when I see things I want right out of the gate and knowing if I pass it up, it may very well not be there when I go back, and if I DO buy it, I may find something I want more later! Never fails, but never stops me from going, either. 😂😊. That’s part of the fun-learning to hone your eye and refine your taste, and only buy it if it is amazingly special. It looks like that’s exactly what you did, and you got some great stuff, Andrea. Thanks for letting us ride along! 💜

The horse halter hanger gets mounted a wall and you hang halters/ tack from it. The thing you guys were thinking of was a hitching post to tie your horses up at. Thank you so much for taking us with you!!! Beautiful!!!

Oh this was FUN!! When we lived in the midwest, we went to several huge antique fairs and always had so much fun and left with the van packed with stuff. I love that little cabinet with the drawers you got. So cute. Nothing like antiquing in the fall.
I am local to this area and love that you came this way and filmed this! I didn't get to go this year but have in the past. It is such a fun day when the weather is nice! -Tammy
Bay City also did a FREE historic event for that same Friday, Saturday, and Sunday called "The River of Time". If the antique festival and River of Time match up dates again and you bring the boys - that is a lot of fun to stop and do too!

Thank you for the fun trip Andrea everything looks fantastic my husband and I were in crown point Indiana today in the square antiquing and we had fun as well we are going on 50 yrs of marriage at the end of the month and we still have fun .

I've been to the Midland antique market and it is GREAT! Tons of treasures.
I have found several treasures there over the years. Always a fun trip.

You can still buy iron skillets new at Ace Hardware....nowhere near the extreme prices in these skillets....and they age with us....mine were at least 30 years old before we opted for glaze finished pots......but I still bought a flat iron skillet for grilled cheese , etc ... And have even used it out on the BBQ. You just have to clean them with soapy detergent like Palmolive, dry it thoroughly , then add about 1 Tablespoon of cooking oil .. heat for ( a few ) minutes and turn off the flame . .( Being sure to turn off the flame. Yes, just want to be sure you turn off the flame... ..and then it's ready to go again

We have one near us ( I can’t go anymore with my bad lower back and walk it all) but it is 1,000’s of vendors from all over. Probably some are at this show too and I’m sure they go to the big one In Connecticut also!

Hi Andrea! I live near Midland and always attend this antique show! Was this the most recent fall one? I'm curious because we were there the first day and it poured rain the whole time... I also didn't know you could get a golf cart! Thanks for sharing :)
Aww so neat you've experienced this antique festival too! We loved it!! This was on Friday, September 23rd. So not sure it it was the most recent one. But yes, they hooked us up with a golf cart which was super nice!!

Antiques in the UK are spotless pieces of furniture, makes me laugh when these are called antiques with the price tags they have
