This is a good question Loraine. No . . . I've never had to use different keyplates for the plain stockinette and fair isle sections. The gauge is the same for me when I use the same yarns. I'm glad the videos have helped you.
Hi Cheryl, do you find you need to use a different keyplate size for the fair isle on a sweater to say the stocking stitch portions? For example if you had a pattern on the body but not the sleeves, or is this just a matter of making swatches for both? I've found your videos so helpful, not least as I didn't have a user manual for my Bond Elite. Thanks. Loraine
