I like using the tile in the tracks to mark the length of the trains. Maybe look at using one of the 1x4 yellow and black striped caution tiles there? I think it would make sense from an operational perspective. They'd likely have warning signs of some kind in that area.
That is a lot like what I'm planning on doing in my Lego City. I was inspired by the CSX yards that use yellow painted ties to mark cutoffs. I was just going to use plan yellow tiles, but I'm worried they'll be too brightly colored.
Wow, your train yard looks excellent, I watch all your videos and I’m really learning great tips and techniques I’m applying to my city, you’re lucky to have someone that shares the hobby!!! I want to learn how you made the buffers, a tutorial and parts needed would be great, I would really appreciate it! Thanks for the great content!!!
Great update Chris! Your train buffers look really heavy duty. I know the struggle of always running out of the parts you need 😅
Thank you! And yep, it's a never ending cycle!
Nice ideas and upgrade 👍
Thank you!

That's a good idea! I'll have to look to see if I have enough of those

Thank you, I really appreciate that! I'll be sure to make a tutorial on how to make the buffers in the near future!
