Thanks for this vid! This was my dream Lego set during my childhood, too expensive for my parents back then. Somehow miracle happened, my uncle one day brought home this brand new set for me, exactly the box I had been wishing for!! Now the set is still with me, bought some of the missing bricks parts online to rebuild it a few years ago, the Skeleton minifig well played and aged like a real amber skeleton! I love the skeleton minifig until today, my prized collection. Box and instruction paper gone though.. I rebuilt this fortress into the alternate build printed on the back of the box, way more majestic! I have a thing for skeletons, love at first sight in the shopping mall during 1990s! The 1st Skeleton minifig ever! Subbed and bell pressed!
That was my firstr castle set back in the day ❤... still have most of it. Sadly the handle broke off the shield, and in one of many moves I lost the back wall. But the rest of it stood the test of time.
I miss baseplates.
Obviously the ideal would be to use both, but the complete lack of baseplates is a shame.

Personally I really like baseplates in sets, especially the raised ones. Anther awesome video btw!

I'd probably buy this for 16 bucks. Obviously the build would end up more detailed nowadays though.
