2017 Nissan NV300 Combi Interior, Exterior and Test Drive

Quite a long time after Renault presented the Traffic, Vauxhall and Opel the Vivaro, and Fiat the Talento, Nissan has finally taken the wraps of its all-new light commercial vehicle. Dubbed NV300, the model that replaces the Primastar boasts a best-in-segment five-year/160,000-kilometer warranty.
Slotted between the NV200 and NV400 in the manufacturer's LCV model lineup, the NV300 was designed to keep running costs low. In this regard, Nissan advertises two-year/40,000-kilometer service intervals, whichever comes first. Available as a panel van, crew van, floor cab, and combi, the 2017 Nissan NV300 is a pretty versatile workhorse, all things considered.
The engine list, for example, consists of four turbo diesels powerplants that displace 1.6 liters. There are two single turbo units (95 PS, 120 PS) and two twin-turbo units (125 PS, 145 PS), and all of them are matched with a six-speed stick shift with the gearshift borrowed from low-end Renault and Dacia models. Fuel economy is best in the case of the 125 PS combi body style, which is capable of returning 5.6 l/100 km (50.4 UK mpg) combined.
The running cost champion in the mid-size LCV segment can be tailored to anyone’s needs. Four sizes for the panel van, two for the six-seater crew van plus the floor cab, two variants for the nine-seater combi, and the list goes on and on. In the case of the entry-level L1H1 panel van, the NV300 is designed to carry up to three standard Euro pallets, 10 x 2.5-meter plasterboard sheets or loads of up to 3.75 meters in length. Equipment levels and interior design also get a collective thumbs up, the NV300 proving its versatility once again.
What the Japanese manufacturer dubs NissanConnect is actually the Media Nav infotainment system we’re acquainted from the Dacia brand. It’s a basic system that, for all intents and purposes, does its job perfectly fine, including satellite navigation. In areas such as the steering wheel, instrument cluster, audio controls.
