Pile 2 (I am slightly drawn to 1 and will listen after) this is so interesting as I am an empath and we are so closely entwined that it may be his energy I’m feeling. He’s been so passive and not initiating things really except for buying presents that I didn’t ask for. We were due to go on holiday and I’ve been so excited. Then at the weekend he told me he’d spent the money as he didn’t think I’d have any. I’ve been working extra hours since June to afford this. He earns more than me but I’m leveling up as I now have a new job before we go away which means I only earn a bit less than him. It was a huge shock as he’s not been putting energy in and has listened to me talking about this and said nothing until I said we need to book flights. He’s since said we can go somewhere else but not overseas but has not suggested where. So that you see us going away is kind of amazing. We have been so aligned but this last weekend makes me feel like all the dreams are broken. He’s going through a divorce so I get that a lot is going on. I also feel like it’s him that’s stagnating and I get that he is trying to be in his comfort zone though I’m sure he’d deny it. I just feel unwanted and unimportant and it utterly has done a number on me. To the point i wonder if it’s worth continuing. It’s interesting. Much of pile one resonates. It feels it has stagnated as he is not investing energy into it. Meant to say before 33 is our number. I did have a go at him at the weekend as he’s just not meeting level with me when he’s such an equal normally. At a loss as to how to move forward or whether I step away which is not what I want but he’s just not showing up equally. It’s so frustrating and sad. I started laughing when you mentioned a girls' trip. I just got home yesterday. And the clarity I got is that the whole time there I was thinking that I wish I could have shared that trip with him too, because being with him is so effortless and he doesn't drain my social batteries.
