That’s awesome to hear, I just got back from a visit this weekend and it was way different compared to when it opened because there was a lot more energy in the hotel - have a great stay!
Granted there are some nice things in the hotel but the rooms aren’t anything I would look forward to staying in again. Room is cramped and generally nonfunctional. I would rather stay in a place that places value on guest comfort than being a hip place. In the future it is a more boring hotel for me.
Thanks for sharing your feedback, I’ve stayed here 3 times since and I really like it, and can also understand that it’s not for everyone. I like the fact that it’s something different in the world of hotels that are usually cut + copy pastes of each other. Whether it is the Moxy, or something more luxurious, I think we need more variety in the hotel and travel industry!
Both great options for sure. My other Marriott recommendations for Halifax would be the Weston for great value and service, or the Muir for a more luxurious stay!

The water bottle refill station and the abundance of hooks in the room did it for me - will book a room next time we are in Halifax!
Hahaha it’s the small things that count and it’s got a great redemption value with Marriott Bonvoy points you can transfer from AMEX… 😂

@ I am glad you like it, for us we would be happier at a normal Marriott or even the Hampton across the street.
