Great illustration of looping the threaded prussik. It took me a few tries to figure out pass it under to get the loops correctly "balanced"- 2 on the pulley side, 3 on the other side.

Probably a dumb question but I’ve never seen a prusik tied after having a line threaded through it. What is the reason on this kit?

Hi there. There are 2 basic reassons for this kind of thread. 1. Each of those small prusiks will absorb energy differntly. One will hold a 1/3 of the load while the other will suport 1/4 of the load. So if you keep them threaded is not much of possibility of placing the prusik in a wrong possition. The second reasson is that if you see the two wraps go near the pulley and the 3 wraps are far from the pulley. This makes it easier for moving the prusik towards the pulley while is better in stoping the system when the prusik moves away from the pulley holding it. Kind regards
