To name a few.
I started making electronic music in high school, early 2000s after have listened to Crystal Method, Prodigy, Astral Projection, Man With No Name, and other awesome artists from the late 90s era. Back then, subgenres were soooo divided and there were so many subscenes for each of the genres. Today it feels like it's one giant mish-mash and I stopped making electronic dance music after 2015. The scene is just not the same anymore, but I am hoping to see a grassroot revival one day soon.

When I started going to clubs and raves I remember friends telling me this shit would never last and 25 years later it's influences are everywhere. Awesome to be the first off something, all the technology, all the concerts, all the drugs, it's just a different experience than most music.

Hard to believe this was released 24 years ago in 1997. I'm pretty sure I had their cd Vegas in my single cd car player for a year. Saw them in Austin,Texas a few times in a couple rave warehouses. Still one of the best.
Crystal Method... Truly one of the greatest bands of the late 90's.. Acid, XTC, alcohol, and SOBER! Maybe a nickel later in 2002, I trained with this music in route to winning the national championships in enduro ski racing.. The times when I couldn't friggen feel my hands and my throttle finger ghosted the throttle (I couldn't feel it.. only the slow down...). This and a few others flew through those hours of fun abuse.. Seriously, I was a later 80's techno guy... However, when I thought the serious jams were dead.. These people amped all of us up.. From the boys that just wanted to smoke, or drop, to (and especially), those of us who did all of that, but wanted to go full blast.. So glad to listen to this again..!

Hard to believe this was released 24 years ago in 1997. I'm pretty sure I had their cd Vegas in my single cd car player for a year. Saw them in Austin,Texas a few times in a couple rave warehouses. Still one of the best.

I've actually been looking for this song forever.
Crystal Method... Truly one of the greatest bands of the late 90's.. Acid, XTC, alcohol, and SOBER! Maybe a nickel later in 2002, I trained with this music in route to winning the national championships in enduro ski racing.. The times when I couldn't friggen feel my hands and my throttle finger ghosted the throttle (I couldn't feel it.. only the slow down...). This and a few others flew through those hours of fun abuse.. Seriously, I was a later 80's techno guy... However, when I thought the serious jams were dead.. These people amped all of us up.. From the boys that just wanted to smoke, or drop, to (and especially), those of us who did all of that, but wanted to go full blast.. So glad to listen to this again..!

Crystal Method got discovered and signed on this record label this night the video was being shot as they performed live. Hi I am Peter from the Neworld of True Love and True Peace Productions.
