Melaina Carnell auditions are this Thursday I haven't even practiced don't even know nothing about the show and here I am 48 hours away from auditions learning the show and everything. I'm not ungrateful or anything but when your school chooses the most cringiest musical to do for your senior year and you haven't been in a musical for the past 3 years you are desperate like me. Last year we did in the heights I worked my butt off to get in didn't make cast nor ensemble so this is my last chance I am not throwing away my shot
Tell me how it works out! I'm in a similar situation to you. I'm an eighth grader and our school musical is camp rock. I would've taken literally anything else then this. As a passionate musical lover, Camp rock is a disappointment on every single level of disappointing. I think it's because we didn't have a lot of super talented singers or dancers so we couldn't do the good musicals like lion king because it has a really particular style of cast that our school could not fit. But, camp rock, was NOT the solution.
