August 1st and January 1st are the two biggest release days of the year! So many new LEGO sets released today and I am thrilled to finally get my hands on some of these. There were not as many sets that I was super excited for this year (which is usually not the case) but I grabbed a few that I really liked to build while I'm visiting family in Washington DC and attending Brickfair Virginia this weekend!

Happy release day everyone! I went to my local Lego store and got the Spider Man No Way Home Final Battle set. My store only had 9 of them in stock and I got the last one. It was absolutely insane and it was flying off the shelf, so I’m glad I got one. When my store opened, everyone immediately rushed to the Marvel section to get the Spider Man set.
Same. I haven’t bought a Lego set in years but I have a childhood nostalgia for Tobey’s Spider-Man. The Lego store was going to be my last resort but 3 Walmart trips and 3rd time was the charm because they had some on shelves. Glad I’d got it and didn’t have to go through what you went through.

Hello! I’d just like to say that the umbrella toppers can be used for fountains, those big water tanks on roofs, and even ceiling lights! Hope you see this and respond. There’s a lot of places in uptown ladyburg where you can use these pieces.

Hey Emily! The red heart pieces are useful at Valentine's Day, but also at Halloween for vampire-themed builds. Personally, I'm awash in the new Star Wars sets🥰. (I like the Spider Droid and thought it was a good addition to Disney's Star Wars theme (when they've been falling down on the job, recently.)💕 Love and ❤❤❤❤❤ to Ladybird! (And Ross. 🙁😆)

No new Lego sets this month. Will get the Zen Garden and Hemiji Castle sets in future. Always interesting to see excitement for the new LEGO!

Go back to the PAB Wall just before BrickFair (I won't be there this year). I bet they will have a table set up with boxes of new pieces. Maybe ask when they will be doing that or when they get a new shipment in or when they restock?

Awesome vlog, I went for some of the dreamzzz sets myself, think they portray Lego's routes; they are fun, wackey, colourful and full of imagination. Take care.
Super cool! I was thinking of getting the Lego Sonic the Hedgehog set with Tails and his plane the Tornado, I love Sonic! The Dreamzzz sets are interesting, not sure if I'll pick any of them up, we'll see. Have fun both of you!

Too expensive to buy at retail these days. Will wait for better GWPs/discounts later. A lot of nice sets to look forward to!
I love lego friends
One of my two "home" stores! The other is at Pentagon City. We're lucky to have 6 LEGO retail stores, a Brickmania store, and a LEGO Discovery Center (opens next week!) all within an hour of DC.
And with so many stores in the area, it makes sense the lines at opening are smaller.
It was all about mini figures for me today. I got the spider tank for the figs. Also Boba Fett and Stormtrooper Mechs for the figs. And the new Batman Vs Joker Batmobile. Would you believe I didn't have a Batman or Joker Minifig before today. Personally I think Yavin 4 should have been done to Master builder Series level like Mos Eisley and not a play set. Since they both hail from the old 70's movies it's more relevant to Adult fans rather than kids. As for September, today was like the warm-up band. Next month is the headliner. The Ghost, The Gunship and Gringotts Bank. I like to go in-store if I can but that is simply too much to carry. A plan needs to be considered.
I'm not the biggest Disney guy but that castle look amazing a piece of art.

My wallet...I had to get the Batmobile and Batwing. I had to hold off on the Sonic sets even though I REALLY wanted them. Honestly I have not been this excited about new releases in a while. Even the Japanese garden is amazing and may be my first Icons set. I also had to get some of the new MEGA Pokemon stuff.
