Thanks. We get to meet really awesome clients and often come back to do more projects for them. Cant wait to see what Joe completes with some of his plans we talked about.
Concrete is one of my favorite things to watch being done, awesome job! I’m not seeing any guesses on the trucks though...So here goes: 1953 COE (sugar beet) 1949 GMC (orange) 1951 Chevy (desk) 1952 Chevy (yellow)
Did you put deshuttering agent or burnt engine oil on the screeding machine plate and wheels? It is a necessary extra step as at higher temperatures concrete sticks to them.
Impressive machine! How do you include the slight slope to the drain in the center of the building? Seems like this thing would pay for itself over a laborer pretty quickly.

I haven't checked what a new laser screed is running currently. We bought this one used and it has worked great and almost no hiccups. Are you looking into getting a setup?
Fuck man I have been NAGGIN my boss to buy one of these bad boys, we do a lot of storage units here in Montana and I keep trying to tell him we'd FLY through those with one, but NOOO he's too archaic, up until last year we were screeding EVERYTHING by hand with magnesium rods, finally I made him buy a vibe screed, I'm just glad he DOES believe in power trowels bc I would NOT want to finish an entire storage place by hand -_-
@@KoverageContractors oh bro! It totally is a lot of work LMFAO but yeah I've been obsessing over the thought of having a laser screed, like you said not only does it increase efficiency it also increases accuracy, I bet that laser screed gets it perfectly flat in like a 10th of the time, it's just too bad they're so freaking expensive, I think that's my boss's main issue, he's a cheap ass and doesn't like to spend money on equipment unless he absolutely has to. But I told him the thing probably pays for itself within the first handful of jobs between the amount of time in labor it saves and the amount of jobs you could fly through with it
Hi there i amcurrently trying to figure out the same machine in the cooperhead laser screed and was wondering if you think it would work for a parkade ramp ? i am just worried about the slope of the ramp messing with the laser. any help would be appreciated!
He's a VERY CLEVER MAN, what an imagination , what an advertisement for his old vehicle restoration business !!!!!!!
I agree :) He has some really cool old vehicles and some really cool projects coming up
Good job, love that you build friendship with clients.
Thanks. We get to meet really awesome clients and often come back to do more projects for them. Cant wait to see what Joe completes with some of his plans we talked about.
Front porch awning is sick!👍Slab looks great.
I couldnt agree more, thats what i call thinking outside of the box. The slab took longer than we hoped but it turned out so perfect
That laser screed is awesome, really brings up the cream. That orange GMC is nice.
We love that Laser screed. it saves us so much time and is so precise! the story behind the that GMC cracks me up everytime 🤣
Fun video to watch. That machine does such a nice job! I like his porch idea 😁
Thanks bro. Ya, I don’t think we will ever go back to the vibra screed😂
That porch was quite unique 👌
@@KoverageContractors I don’t blame you for never going back! I hope you kept Andrew out of the concrete so he didn’t have to get his feet muddy 😂
I got muddle for a little but the videographer get tired quick raking concrete 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I will stick with raking leaves 🍁
In the mud :)
Love your toys you work with lol they are so cool. Your a thousand subscribers now. Don’t forget to monetize. 👍🏼
We love them too, they save us a lot of time and enable us to do the best Job possible.
We need a few more watch hours and we can monetize. Any tips for us please let us know. Thanks so much
Awesome job guys!!
Might have popped over cause Good Simple Living was just promoting you guys, but I gotta say that's pretty friggin cool! Good job!
Thanks for poppin over :) Thansk for watching, I really appreciate it!!
@@KoverageContractors I'm entertained by power tools and smooth concrete so.... you're welcome!
Nice machine but 3 guys that know what they’re doing will do the job faster and just as good.
We are stoked to hear insights and where we could improve. Thanks for your time
Yes that job was small for the screed but I’ve seen those things do 30000 Sq feet in a day 3 guys would be tired after that

Haha, yap, you are the only one. I didnt say they had to be right:) it looks like your chances of winning will be high!
@@KoverageContractors ahhh, I reread multiple times and couldn’t tell whether they had to be right or just guesses. The pressure was paralyzing. Lol
Hey, so you won, sorry that I got a little behind. What is a good address to mail it too? You send in email. koveragecontractors@gmail.com
That laser screed 👌🏻
Right. That hand trowel tho...💪 made that look so good

💞yellow truck
Yes, i want that truck so bad!!
Do you just leave the rebar at the bottom of the slab?
Impressive machine! How do you include the slight slope to the drain in the center of the building? Seems like this thing would pay for itself over a laborer pretty quickly.
You can program the laser to set screed at a slope. For the drains we often just use a Vibrascreed
Great job, except what about the rebar not being set up on chairs? Our inspectors will fail if mesh or rebar not on chairs.
Thank you! While we are pouring we pull the rebar up and it works well for us
Where did you get it
I’m in Oklahoma and I’m trying to get one just like yours…
Thank you in advance!!
Somero make it call them up i think its 45000 used
I got the screed used, you can usually find them use online
Why u didn’t pick up the rebar????
So we do pick up the rebar as we pour
I wonder how much are these

No poly under the slab….
what’s that setup cost?

That sounds like a lot of work! These machines really add a lot of efficiency and accuracy! we use them even small jobs!

как называется апарат

I really love the machine and yes you can use them for slopes, the main thing you need for slopes tho is a dual slope lazer
Check out the srs 4 i run that machine
Ya i have checked it out, we do a lot of shophouse and didn't really know if that one would work to good with plumbing?
The problem I see is the customer has been robbed of the cost and benefit of rebar because it is laying in the dirt which makes it useless.
So we all ways make sure that we pull up the rebar as we are pouring, we make sure the rebar is never on the dirt
You pulled it up and it fell back to the bottom
This would literally be faster without that machine. And easier. Your mix is wrong and way to many guys to be profitable.
What was the slump
