I would have assumed that took place on Parnassus, but then the piano tuner would also have been divine.
Guarnieri, amongst all those giants, still stands out, his discrete perfectionism! Whether he played with the Grammercy Five or with Prez or alone, it is always magnificent and refined art. Thanks for sharing this!

I smiled the entire performance. My cheeks hurt. Thank you for sharing this.

What a treat! Thank you so much for taking the time to share this rare footage with us. I love all four of these pianists, but without a doubt, seeing Johnny Guarnieri perform, especially the extensive camera focus on his nimble hands, is the highlight.

The rare look at Johnny's hands, which were quite small. Smaller than mine. I can reach an octave and with difficulty, a ninth. Which, for Johnny meant that he could not reach a 10th, which he placed broken / rolled. Still swung like hell.

Voici bel exemple d'un jazz que sait utilizer l'abstratcion mélodique, sans la course folle des notes frénétiques et folles du free jazz, qui font du mal à notre sprit... !!!
