Here’s some tips I got from smoke when I was on a discord call with him 1: click the mesh, then go to edit mode, click a, then right click, and then subdivide. 2: Put the glossy color at FFFFFF, and the strength at 0.2 3: if you want the monke to be smoother, turn the subsurface up a lil more. If you want the animation to look better, what you can do is turn the render engine from EVEE to CYCLES. And add some volumetric lighting. as well as turning the color management settings from AGX to FILMIC ( also you can turn up the contrast to make it look a little better). This will look better, however it will take significantly longer if you don't have a good pc.
i use the gorilla base but just put the same settings as the gorilla ik rig because the gorilla bas has a folder with every custom face cosmetic map etc

The cosmetics link in the description takes me to a 404 page And a solution to something else: If blender keeps crashing when you open Gorilla Tag IK, thats a bug with blender 4.2. So try using blender 3.6.9
