- In today's video we give you a tour of a one bedroom villa with a savanna view at the Animal Kingdom Lodge at the Walt Disney World Resort! We got the opportunity to stay 2 nights at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in the Kidani Village, Disney Vacation Club side! We were in a one bedroom villa with a living room and kitchen! I stayed there a few years back and seeing the animals was the biggest perk of being at the resort in my opinion. So relaxing. Glad you were able to experience it.

We loved this place! Yes, there are animals, but so much more, the decor and atmosphere really makes you feel like you are transported to another place!
We stayed at AKL when it was just AKL in 2005 for our honeymoon. It was so special, and we brought my parents back one year and my parents and grandparents at Christmas in 2010. We love how Boma makes the whole lobby smell like cooking over a fire!

I stayed at Old Key West One Bedroom Villa for the first time in October 11-18 2020 for my honeymoon. We loved it. Now we just booked one for our 1 year anniversary for October 8-15 2021 at Saratoga Springs. I have a Hotel Bucket List to finish. lol 😂 so we are ready!!!

Giraffes and elephants are my favorites!
My favorite animals by far are bats especially the African flying foxes (fruit bats).

Lol nope! If you hear me in the video, I saw we haven’t even used this restroom yet so it’s all clean. That’s how they show they’re clean, I guess cause both bathrooms looked like that when we got there Lol 😂

Great stream! I miss Kidani Village! My daughter has asked can we please try to stay there again next Christmas, so that's the plan (it's one of our DVC home resorts!) We miss the ambiance and the Christmas music they play there!

I’ve stayed at AKL, it’s absolutely gorgeous. The atmosphere and the staff are wonderful. I would say the only downfall if you don’t have a car is the only transportation are there buses. A Special Thank You to the Tobins for gifting you the stay and Thank You Jenna & Dale for sharing it with us.
Fun video. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for its Inaugural Season just after 9/11 in 2001. It remains one of our favorite resorts and we've been back there many times. Is there anything better than a coffee overlooking a Savannah View before hitting the theme parks in the early morning Floridian mist ?...

By far, our most favorite savannah animals are bats. We even have collections of plush bats hence our Channel name is “Plush Bat Fan.” The largest bats out there are the flying foxes (fruit bats).

Thank you so much for this amazing video! I am enthralled with all of the wildlife especially the giraffes, my favorite animal. Did you notice that they walk with the two legs on one side going forward at the same time and then the other two on the other side..It’s so different from other animals. 🦒🦒🦒🦒
My favorite animals are bats since the bats are the only flying mammal on earth. Collecting lots of plush bats for many years. Hardly traveling these days but those bat plush animals remind me of my grandmother passed away eight years ago. Still have transition objects or comfort items to alleviate my sad dreams of my granny in Heavens. She has lived to ninety four years. I missed her lots and lots and lots these days. So sad so true.☹️🙁

I googled AKL and it says it’s closed. While Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is currently closed, a variety of Disney Resort hotels are open and accepting new reservations-including Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. Learn what's open. When was this video made?
