Nice to see that there are people in the world that take pride in their work. Your ruff grade looks better than most finish grading. I always prided myself when I use to own a highlift and did ruff grading around new construction. Lots of the folks I did work for said all they had to do when I was done was seed and straw. No finish grading needed. Nice work and enjoy the vids.
You do really nice work. I wish you could've fixed my swampy ole pond before we did away w it. It's been a 16 year project that I just completed. Now I have about 2 more useable acres w o the pond but I would have preferred to have kept it. The guy I used for my dirt work said draining it was best. Anyhow, I enoy your videos ..keep em coming
Good looking job, Chris. The stumps you put in there, are they for fish habitat ? Is the Drone still around ? I was thinking this is one of those jobs that would be nice to see from above. Thanks for this video.
Chris u sound bloody knackered bud take a day of and relax nice job on the pond though we just started strippimg a back garden and its rain rain rain,,,bleh
I definitely heard you say "this ground is so flat it just stays wet". Welcome to my world you SOB! Hahahahaha!!! Wow 6' deep huh. Well now I'm a bit ashamed that you said it took you about 2 days. Why not 1 day? Ok just kidding, that's enough. Looks sharp man. The grading is pretty slick for doing it all with just the ex!
letsdig18 - I'm new to your channel. Interesting stuff!! What do you typically use to line the ponds you dig? It looks like you have some good quality clay. Do you ever need to use anything other than the clay?
Hey Chris quick question. Do you have any certification for the equipment you operate? I'm starting out as an HEO and don't have any certification as of right now, but I'm still operating. Would it be worth it to go to school and get certified or don't worry about it? Thanks, Ryan
+memyselfand ifarmer this is what a lot of people always think. but out of the 100's of ponds Ive worked on, vary few are over 10' deep. most farm ponds are only 3-6' deep and the fish always seem to live just fine

Another really nice job Chris. You are a very creative and talented individual.
It would be cool to see a time lapse of some of these big projects.
I was thinking a time lapse of the pond filling
Good looking finished project, thanks for the video!

Thanks for the video ... great job!
did you make any operating videos of clearing the area or just doing the bulk earthworks?
Nice job man. Thanks for the video.
You’ve come a long way in four years. This would be no more than a few days at the most for you now.
Looks nice, that ought to take a while to fill up.
That looks like you have achieved a great deal in only 33 hours of digger time to me!
Nice pond. How long will it take that to fill in?
I don't wanna tell u what you to do but you should do a video explaining how you got into equipment
What is your average profit per pond build?
Nice work. Pretty impressive for 33hr's without a dozer on site.
Chris u sound bloody knackered bud take a day of and relax nice job on the pond though we just started strippimg a back garden and its rain rain rain,,,bleh
Nice job Chris
Good job Chris!!!
Fine job!!!
Good job man looks good.
maybe its just the camera angle but it seems like the road is a lot lower than the water drain outlet :)
I came here to say this
I definitely heard you say "this ground is so flat it just stays wet". Welcome to my world you SOB! Hahahahaha!!!

U need to dig it about .12 15 ft deep to make a good fishing pond but what to do with the dirt
How much do you guys charge for a smaller pond like this?
Very nice

He doesn’t line his ponds except the type soil used. Usually the clay is the best.
How do you keep the pond from going stagnant
the pond looks nice now 7 years later..
Super Arbeit !!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
racking the hours in . excellent.
fine job for just excavator and box blade
Why don't you use highlifts?
How much for 1ACRE pond
I know it's probably camera angle but the outlet pipe looks higher than the woodline diagonal to it.

ponds = 12 ft- 15 ft to help the fish to be cool, 4 ft - 6 ft seems low. do not dive in.

+letsdig18 you'll need the dozer won't you?
