    The only time I use the option key is for snapping windows with Rectangle. But I’ll be using the option key more often from here on out, thanks Vince!
    Edit: MacOS sequoia now supports native window tiling without the need of apps like Rectangle

    Your video content always different from others. Here i have question. I have a problem with the date format in an excel workbook. Whenever I type the date in dd-mm-yy but it always shows in mm-dd-yy format, even I changed the cell format in”text to column”, tried the custom format but next time I type it shows mm-dd-yy. It always take 1st number as month. hope you will have solution.

    Bonus tip, if you hit the numbers on your keyboard, you will jump to that chapter in the video, if you press 0, then your video starts over from the beginning.

    option key in the mac is the most useless thing. in Windows you can use all kind of shortcut using alt key on every app. In mac, you can't even open file menu without using a mouse.

      You can, cmd+tab and keep pressing tab until finder icon is highlighted, then cmd+n
      (correct me if im wrong)

      mac os is in fact, more keyboard focused than windows, it's just different shortcuts

    Or reason number 483 why MacOS is the least intuitive interface ever designed.

    • @Kephinio
      @Kephinio 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on what you have used in the past. Don't complain about something being different by saying it's not intuitive.
      Comments like yours make me realise, with all the references about UI and UX being out there, people can still act like they know what they are talking about, but having no idea what they are talking about. It is often the case that people, who use Windows or Linux primarily, come to videos like this and act like the system they use is the best of them all. There's a reasoning for each usage of every OS, be it servers, games, design, whatever else. Even if it's just personal preference based on the devices you already have.
      Using macOS for years after more than ten years of having used Windows, I can say that macOS makes more sense in terms of interaction design, but only after having given it an open mind, not expecting something to work the same way I got used to. Just stop with comments like this and begin using the product before making your judgement. And, most importantly, a product not working the way you are used to doesn't make it less intuitive as that statement is always based on past experience in mind. This is the reason some people might be surprised about how some Linux distributions handle installing software or how gaming consoles work differently, depending on the system. Don't act like this is new to you. And be positive.

      @@Kephinio Every task in MacOS takes at least a couple of more mundane steps than in Windows. MacOS still lacks basic GUI functionality, FFS it just recently finally got window snapping. I used to teach learning disabled kids how to use computers, bot Macs and PCs. They ALWAYS picked up the Windows interface much much faster than MacOS. My grandma bought a Mac as her first computer and HATED it. Yet she's never had an issue with windows. That's what I mean when I say it's far less intuitive. It should be easy for a novice to figure out while at the same time have the features needed for powerusers to do what they want HOW they want. If I'm using MacOS and I think of a more logical way of performing a task than how it was designed you jut can't do it. Which is the definition of lackin intuitiveness.
