That solo. God damn. So many great guitar solos from Kirk but this one is definitely my favorite. It sounds like the guitar is singing and crying. That takes some serious skill. I also love the way the song ends in this game instead of just fading out. James’s voice to close it out here just feels so natural.
thats so true about the ending, its way way better to finish like that, it gives so much value to Hetfield's voice, and I guess fading out is sometimes just lack of creativity, since its very hard to end a song, and Metallica does too many fade outs...
