Makes me want to attempt a snow scene which I find the most difficult of all. Cannot wait for your new website to be up and running. I go to my computer every day to see what may be new. You have given me the inspiration to paint ever day and my skills are improving. I have learned more from your videos than from many classes and workshops. Came back to watch this one again. A friend has asked me to paint her a snowy scene. Always said I'd never paint snow (currently surrounded by it - despise the white stuff)...but for her, I'll give it a go. And I knew exactly where to look for instruction. Your tutorials, and even more-so, the full art lessons you provide are intrinsic for me to push forward. Thank you so much for not only offering free tutorials on TH-cam but also affordable lessons on your channel. Phew. OK...I think I'll tackle that snowy scene now. Oh, and by the way, love the music. This is so serene and perfectly rendered, I really get a sense of the hushed silence that so often accompanies snow in the open... depth of the trees and the snow is just perfect..Nice, soft colors in the background. Tree limbs detailed..The gentle laciness of the branches and twigs serves to magnify the effect... I also like how it gives the trees such a contrast against the snow...Gorgeous colors, light.... casts shadows across the snow-covered hill....the ridges and marks in the snow....are rendered realistically...I can hear the crunching as I walk the roadway....Beautiful tone, textures and hues...Simply Enchanting.... your work is Spectacular.... a real treat to one's visual sensory...I bow to you - your work is truly amazing, the light on the snow...shadows....rocks...trees all beautiful...

michael, don't usually like speed paintings but that one was absolutely stunning. although I couldn't keep up with the speed the results were magnificent. Who needs the old masters, we have you. lol. Great job. Thanks as always.

I don't live very far from Palm Desert, I'll have to take a trip there to see your work in person. I would like to see you do a night scene. I tried one of moonlight over a lake with hills in the background, but struggled with the right amount of detail and color. Can't wait to see your new web site.
