- This is the first audio recording I've done of my bus. In this video, I mounted my Zoom H2N on the back of the bus on the rear AC grill using a buttload of duct tape. Risky, but it held up very well for the entirety of this recording. My goal was to catch the sweet, bassy roar of the exhaust.
I'm gonna try to do my next recording with my Zoom H2N mounted under the bus somewhere. In the meantime, enjoy nearly 45 minutes of wonderful ear porn.
This is a 2005 Orion V with a Cummins ISM engine and Voith D863.3 transmission.
Absolutely MAGNIFICENT!!!! That powertrain is excellent and you caught all the subtle nuances that makes that bus of yours just great! Excellent job!!!
Just listening to this again, that ISM is just absolute eargasm! You bet I have the perfect name for this bus... Lynn! I assume you still have Lynn, right? If so, please, please do more audio recordings on her, including another super long one of the exhaust! Lynn just sounds so good! Please let me know ASAP.
My man, you just blew it out of the water on this one! Absolutely amazing work! That throaty ISM growl/roar is just music to my ears! You even got the startup at the beginning - just awesome my friend! Please keep these amazing audio recordings of your bus coming! Maybe do another exhaust recording but longer? Again, that ISM roar never gets old! What's the horsepower on this engine, 280 or 330 HP? I'll definitely be back to listen to this one again!
Surprisingly, 240HP. I assume it was spec'd that way because of the dimensions of the bus (35 ft. long x 96 inches wide).
@@MetroLinerXLZ Wow! Didn't know an ISM could have a rating of 240 HP! Will you please make more exhaust audio recordings, but much, much longer? Make sure to include stationary revving in there too, if possible. I want to hear more of this roaring and amazing sounding ISM!
ear porn 😂😂😂😂 for real tho!! And bruh I'd pass out if you did this on one of the older Orions w/ the ORIGINAL RECIPE exhaust X___X
