Also, I've tried to get net 30/60 accounts, but most of the companies say that I would have to make 3-7 pre-paid purchases over a period of 3 mos. before they can offer a credit line. I should have done this along time ago.....16 yrs ive had construction business but was always scared to get into too much debt and if work slowed, I didnt want money I couldn't pay back....guess thats kind of failure mentality though.....have done ok but be nice to have access....
Not to be all *"nitpicky"* and whatnot but it seems there's a few things either left out or glossed over like & such as: Registering your business with your state's *Dept of Revenue* (which incidentally works hand in hand w/The Secretary Of State's office) as well as getting your business licensed by whatever city or town you live in. I live in CT. It used to be only $20 to get an LLC. Now it's a whopping $120 and $80 a yr afterwards to keep it in good standing. It ain't cheap to get an LLC for those with little to no money. I also heard you mention towards the end about ppl with GOOD (personal) credit being able to basically leap over hurdles to getting funded that would otherwise stop those without it (dead) in their tracks..which then deflates anyone who thought it was going to be a simple thing...and money & credit was just going to simply flood in.
